Mask De Masculine Quincy Vollstandig - BLEACH Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 5

In the BLEACH universe, the Captains of the Shinigami officers are known for their extraordinary power and serve as a benchmark. Despite this, Mask De Masculine effortlessly defeated Rose and Kensei, showcasing his overwhelming strength. Surprisingly, Lieutenant Renji, who is notorious for losing crucial battles, remained unaffected by the Quincy's attack. Rukia confidently states that the opponent should not pose a problem for Renji anymore, implying that he has gained a significant power-up. Throughout the second cours of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, the Captains who were previously defeated have found various ways to compensate for the loss of their plundered Bankai, displaying their adaptability and determination.

Bankai

We are aware of Renji's training with Hyо̄sube, although the specifics remain undisclosed due to Renji's training being separate from Ichigo's. Initially, we accompanied Ichigo to Karakura Town to gain further understanding of his true identity. During a confrontation, Renji demonstrated his ability to deflect Mask De Masculine's "Star Flash" using his Shikai-state Zabimaru. Renji's nonchalant and somewhat skeptical demeanor during the encounter further emphasizes his transformation from his previous encounter with the Quincies. Mask De Masculine proceeds to unleash a relentless onslaught of attacks aimed at incapacitating Renji, claiming that the Lieutenant will be kept airborne indefinitely, unable to regain his footing or recover his position. Ultimately, Mask De Masculine culminates the assault with his ultimate attack, Star Flash Supernova, which involves propelling a five-point star-shaped mass of reiatsu towards the grounded opponent, obliterating everything in its path, including his source of nearly unlimited power: James.

Renji Discovers the Power of Zabimaru – BLEACH Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 5

During a conversation with Hyо̄sube, the individual responsible for assigning names in Soul Society, it is revealed that Renji's Zanpakutо̄, Zabimaru ("Snake Tail"), had not fully acknowledged Renji's authority. With only partial confidence in Renji, Zabimaru had only shared half of its true name, preventing Renji from accessing its full potential until now. As a result, Renji had unknowingly been utilizing an incomplete Bankai, Hihiо̄ Zabimaru ("Baboon King" Zabimaru), which merely manifested as a larger version of its Shikai in the form of a skeletal serpent. Additionally, a cloak made of ape fur would materialize over Renji's left shoulder, extending down to his right arm. This particular motif has been retained in the creation of Renji Abarai's authentic Bankai: Sо̄'о̄ Zabimaru ("Two Kings" Zabimaru). The Zanpakutо̄ transforms into a more wearable structure, providing Renji with a gauntlet resembling the upper part of a snake skull. A tuft of red fur, along with spine-like extensions, adorns the forearm of the gauntlet, functioning as a sash. From the "mouth" of the snake skull emerges a dual-toned blade reminiscent of a machete. Renji's right arm is covered by a cowl of green fur, and his shoulders bear an armored collar similar to the one worn by Ichigo in the early stages of the Thousand-Year Blood War arc.

Sо̄'о̄ Zabimaru's special abilities completely decimated Mask De Masculine, swiftly overpowering the Quincy with only a few strikes. As suggested by its name, Zabimaru's Bankai consists of two key components – the snake and the ape, each offering distinct offensive tactics for Renji. The ape aspect, known as Hihiо̄, allows the cowl to transform into a colossal skeletal ape arm that mimics Renji's own movements. Exhibiting incredible strength in "Rages at Ringside," Renji effortlessly hurls his adversary around, leaving him dumbfounded after believing he could easily defeat the Shinigami moments ago. On the other hand, the snake aspect, Orochiо̄ ("Great Serpent King"), involves activating the vertebrae structure coiled around Renji's waist, which extends like a tail. In this form, Renji's blade acquires tooth-like formations similar to its Shikai state. After employing Hihiо̄ to fling De Masculine around like a puppet, Renji triggers Orochiо̄ to intercept the charging Quincy, utilizing his Bankai's ultimate capability: Zaga Teppо̄ ("Snake Fang Iron Gun"). Piercing De Masculine with the blade born from his gauntlet's mouth, a spectral set of snake jaws manifests. With a twisting motion of his fist resembling a key turning, the reiatsu-infused jaws close in on De Masculine in a manner reminiscent of the Super Dragon Fist technique from the Dragon Ball franchise.

It also emphasizes the vast difference in strength between Renji, the defeated Captains, and the Visoreds. After a powerful attack that incinerated James, Mask De Masculine's arrogance blinds him to the presence of Renji's Bankai, giving Renji an easy opportunity to exploit with his new Bankai.
