Bethesda games are infamous for their glitches, and even though Starfield is one of the studio's better polished titles, it still has its fair share. However, not all of these glitches are negative, as some actually provide opportunities for players to benefit greatly. One such glitch allows players to escape the map and pilfer everything from a vendor's inventory without any consequences.
While there are several locations where this can be done, some are more convenient than others. Neon is a particularly favorable spot to attempt this glitch, as players can utilize the Starfield infinite credits glitch to amass a substantial amount of cash and acquire some valuable items. All that's required is a Power Boost pack and having upgraded the Boost Pack Training skill to Rank 2 or higher.
How Does Starfield's Infinite Credit Glitch Work?
Rather than storing a vendor's items in their inventory, where players can easily steal them, the developers have chosen to secure them in a concealed chest beneath the map. If players manage to access the hidden area near one of these chests, they can freely obtain all the contents without any consequences. Subsequently, they can sell these acquired items to a different vendor and patiently wait for approximately 48 hours for the vendor's inventory to replenish. Consequently, players can repetitively follow this process until they accumulate the desired amount of credits.

For the easiest way to perform the infinite Credits Glitch in Starfield, head to Neon Core. If you're not already there, use fast-travel to reach this cyberpunk settlement located on Volii Alpha in the Volii system, west of Alpha Centauri. Upon arrival, you'll find the region's Trade Authority to your right. Utilize your boost pack to reach the top of the yellow sign, then proceed to the ledge on your right.
To progress further, players must aim for a higher ledge positioned above them and slightly to their left. It is advisable to wait for the boost bar to fully recharge prior to utilizing the boost pack again. Additionally, players should refrain from pushing the analog stick forward until they are nearing the highest point of their jump, ensuring sufficient elevation to successfully reach the ledge. Following that, they must execute another substantial leap towards the right, leading them towards a rooftop area.
From this point onwards, the task becomes much easier. Simply follow the roof to your right, leaping over the two tall walls obstructing the path. Eventually, you will descend into an area with a see-through ceiling. To prevent falling through it, it is advisable to stick to the left side. Additionally, it is recommended to boost just before landing in order to avoid any potential injuries.
To proceed, players should walk forward and jump off the ledge in front of them. This will lead them to the area below the entrance to Ryujin. Here, players will come across three chests. The first chest is easily accessible by carefully moving to the edge of the ledge they are standing on. It contains weapons. As for the other two chests, players will have to drop down to the lower level and then boost themselves up directly underneath the chests. Upon reaching a close distance, players should quickly press the Transfer button to unlock and collect the contents of the chests.
Players can expect to receive approximately 10,000 Credits per run by opening these three chests. In addition, they can obtain gear worth another ten to twenty thousand Credits. To re-enter the map, players have three options: jumping through the floor above them, descending into the void below, or fast traveling back to Neon Core. Once they are back, they can sell all their acquired items at either the Trade Authority or Newell's general store. After waiting for about 48 hours on a chair or bench, they can then repeat the entire process.
In order to execute the unlimited Credits glitch using Rank 1 Boost Pack Training, players will require a boost pack equipped with the Power Boost trait. These boost packs are readily available for purchase at various stores and vendors, such as Outland in the Commercial District of New Atlantis. If the desired boost pack is currently out of stock, players have the option to patiently wait for approximately 24 hours for the stock to refresh. Alternatively, players can modify a standard boost pack to imbue it with the Power Boost trait.
Starfield is available now for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
