Highlights
Dark Deals Ambipom is a sinister fan-made variant of the Pokemon Ambipom, with a dark color palette and a Jack Skellington-esque vibe.
Controlling an enigmatic force of darkness, Dark Deals Ambipom possesses four tails - two with bone fingers and two with pen tips. Players can envision its utilization of Dark-type techniques such as Dark Pulse and Foul Play.
A Pokemon enthusiast has reimagined Ambipom, a pocket monster, as a Dark-type creature, giving it a more malevolent appearance. While Pokemon often draws inspiration from legends and folklore, it also incorporates real animals into its designs.
One such example is Aipom, a Normal-type Pokemon characterized by its purple fur, blue eyes, and a unique three-fingered hand at the end of its tail. Its resemblance to the New World monkey, a primate species native to the tropical regions of Mexico, Central America, and South America, is quite striking. Due to their frequent use of their tails, Aipom is known for their awkward arm movements. Only in the fourth generation of Pokemon did Aipom undergo evolution, becoming Ambipom through the acquisition of the move Double Hit. As Ambipom, the creature undergoes various design alterations while retaining the essence of its previous form. The most notable change is the addition of two tails, each possessing a three-fingered hand with red-tipped digits.
Twitter user OzoneFruit has introduced a new form of Ambipom called Dark Deals Ambipom. Unlike the original Ambipom, which has a light color scheme, Dark Deals Ambipom sports dark colors that give it a spooky, Jack Skellington-like appearance. Its body is black, while the fur on its belly is white, resembling the pattern of a sternum. Its face and head accentuate the Pokemon's demonic nature with a creepy smile. Dark Deals Ambipom distinguishes itself from its counterpart by boasting four tails instead of two. Two of these tails bear bony hands, while the other two end in pen-like tips, resulting in a visually striking Dark-type Pokemon.
The unique tails of Dark Deals Ambipom are closely tied to the Pokedex entry conceptualized by OzoneFruit. Embracing the demon theme, Dark Deals Ambipom wields a mysterious power capable of enhancing the strength of another Pokemon. However, it withholds this power unless a perverse agreement is made, cautioning individuals to think twice before shaking hands with this Pokemon. Dark Deals Ambipom exudes a sinister aura, although it may not faze Pokemon enthusiasts accustomed to dark and eerie Pokedex descriptions. Furthermore, players can easily envision Dark Deals Ambipom utilizing Dark-type moves such as Dark Pulse, Foul Play, and Hyperspace Fury.
Aipom and Ambipom, which are Pokemon from earlier generations, can now be found in Gen 9. Players of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have the opportunity to catch and evolve Aipom, which has made a comeback thanks to the release of the Teal Mask DLC. In addition to encountering Aipom and other familiar Pokemon like Hoothoot, Pachirisu, and Swinub, players of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet can also discover new Pokemon with interesting tales, such as Sinistcha and Poltchageist.
