The Elden Ring Convergence Mod brings forth a multitude of alterations, and among the most enticing additions for players engrossed in this comprehensive revamp are the plethora of fresh weapons. With over 300 novel items infused into the game, each possessing unique effects, a considerable assortment of these are captivatingly innovative, brandishing their distinctive identities.
Some classes start with weapons like the Volcanist's Molten Sword, giving them an early advantage over foes in Elden Ring. However, the top-notch weapons in the Convergence Mod aren't merely capable of dealing astronomical damage – they also possess a stylish flair. Take the elegant weapon art of the Glaive of Ancients or the anime-inspired Celestial Blade, for instance. These are just a couple of examples of the amazing weapons players can anticipate discovering in this addon.
Molten Sword
In the Convergence Mod, the Molten Sword is an incredibly potent weapon that can be obtained through one's class or by defeating a formidable end-of-dungeon boss. With its fiery damage, the Molten Sword exhibits its true might. However, its weapon skill is what truly captivates.
How To Get the Molten Sword
Upon activating L2, players unleash the formidable Magma Shower weapon art, unleashing a torrent of scorching magma that engulfs the surrounding vicinity. This formidable force lingers temporarily, inflicting incessant harm upon unfortunate souls ensnared within its fiery grasp. Additionally, the unrelenting assault of the Magma Shower effortlessly shatters the resolve of adversaries, relentlessly building their stagger meter without respite.
Glaive of the Ancients
The starting weapon for the Volcanist class is not actually found at the class' starting location as one might assume. Instead, players should venture into the Gael Tunnel, which serves as a connection between Caelid and Limgrave and is situated just to the west of the Caelem Ruins. Within this dungeon, players will encounter the end boss who drops the coveted Molten Sword.
The power of the Glaive of the Ancients lies in its exceptional prowess as a Convergence Mod weapon, owing to the amplified strength of Lightning damage in this remarkable overhaul. Numerous players have discovered the remarkable utility of Lightning-type damage (and similar variations) against a diverse range of adversaries, surpassing the effectiveness of other damage types.
How To Get the Glaive of the Ancients
The weapon art of the legendary Glaive of the Ancients, known as Ancient Thunderclap, enables players to gracefully propel themselves into the air with a skillful twirl, momentarily suspending their movement, and then initiate a rapid descent while harnessing the mighty power of the Ancient Dragon Lightning to enhance their strike. By executing an additional L2 maneuver immediately following the initial weapon skill, players can once again ascend into the air, culminating in an electrifying slam that strikes with unparalleled force within a close proximity.
The Glaive of Ancients halberd is an assured acquisition from defeating a boss in Farum Azula. In the area where players typically face the Godskin Duo, a new and comparatively equitable boss has taken the place of both the Noble and Apostle. This new boss is capable of dropping the coveted Glaive of Ancients.
Celestial Blade
The Celestial Blade stands out as an intriguing weapon in the Convergence Mod, showcasing Elden Ring's closest interpretation to a "nothing personnel, kid" weapon. It boasts two distinct weapon arts: the first resembles the Darkmoon Greatsword, launching a projectile straight ahead, while the second enables players to teleport towards their intended target, swiftly executing a strike infused with magical power.
How To Get the Celestial Blade
The Celestial Blade is a formidable weapon that commands respect, particularly among Magic-users who can capitalize on its superior agility. With its heightened mobility, it proves to be the epitome of an ideal weapon for Battlemages, outshining the comparatively restricted Darkmoon Greatsword as a far more potent alternative.
Sulien's Razors
The Celestial Blade can be found in a chest at the highest point of the bell tower atop the Academy of Raya Lucaria. However, reaching this location is not possible through the Academy Legacy Dungeon. Players should instead make their way to the base of the cliff on which Raya Lucaria rests. Look for a tunnel, known as the Academy Crystal Cave, just northwest of the Academy's location on the map. Follow the base of the cliffs until you locate the cave entrance. Defeat the boss within the cave to discover a ladder leading to the uppermost area of Raya Lucaria.Sulien's Razors surpass all other twinblades, establishing their dominance in the realm of Elden Ring. Within this universe, twinblades possess immense power to swiftly impose Status Effects, such as Scarlet Rot and Frozen, upon adversaries. However, Sulien's Razors distinguish themselves by emulating the remarkable spinning assault technique employed by Malenia's Katana, rendering it nearly impossible to evade.
This Convergence Mod weapon is excellent for a Dexterity-focused build, but it is equally effective in various other builds due to its relatively low Dex requirements, especially when compared to highly demanding vanilla items like the Hand of Malenia.
How To Get Sulien's Razors
Sulien's Razors can be located within the courtyard of the Roundtable Hold. However, it's important to note that this is not the Roundtable Hold accessible to players. The actual Roundtable Hold, known as the Fortified Manor, can be found in Leyndell, the Royal Capital. Although it may be somewhat concealed, you can easily reach it by using the teleporter from the Tower of Return and taking the elevator down. This method can be utilized regardless of your progress in the Convergence mod.
Sword of the Cosmos
The Sword of the Cosmos is an upgraded and improved version of the legendary Sword of Night and Flame from the vanilla game. It possesses two distinct Weapon Arts that vary depending on the player's stance. However, unlike its predecessor, the Sword of the Cosmos features unique spells associated with each stance.
By activating L2 and executing a Light attack, players unleash a swift barrage of Gravity projectiles that detonate upon impact within a limited range. By triggering L2 and performing a Heavy attack, players unleash a formidable strike resembling Comet Azur, infused with the mesmerizing power of Gravity Magic.
How To Get the Sword of the Cosmos
The Sword of the Cosmos can be found in Caria Manor, in the same location as the Sword of Night and Flame. Navigate through the legacy dungeon until you reach the Chapel. From there, turn left on the walkways where Raya Lucarian soldier ghosts appear.
Keep going until you reach the end of the path and keep an eye out for a building on the left side of the walkway to jump onto. After successfully making the leap, continue to descend until you reach a room with a chest holding the Sword of the Cosmos.
