Unleashing the Power: Destiny 2 Update 7103 Revolutionizes Trials of Osiris, Unveils Exotic Fishing, and More!

Bungie rolls out Destiny 2 Update 7103, addressing Trials of Osiris, introducing Exotic Fishing, and enhancing item drop rates, client stability, and overall gameplay experience

Bungie has recently rolled out a new update for Destiny 2 that brings various changes to Trials of Osiris rewards, enhancements to fishing activities, and multiple bug fixes. Although not as extensive as previous patches, this Destiny 2 update aims to enhance overall stability and user experience for players, while also addressing as many bugs as possible.

Since the release of the Shadowkeep expansion in 2019, Bungie has successfully transformed Destiny 2 into one of the top titles in the live-service genre, offering yearly expansions and seasonal updates every quarter. Maintaining live service games necessitates continuous monitoring and adjustments, and credit goes to Bungie for consistently providing regular patches and hotfixes to tackle peculiar issues and bothersome bugs. Nevertheless, due to the game's remarkable growth and the introduction of new systems and mechanics, the problems affecting Destiny 2 have become more intricate.

Bungie has released an official update to address various issues in the crucible, commendations, endgame activities, and other areas in order to enhance the player experience. Update 7.1.0.3 patch notes indicate that matchmaking has been improved for Competitive Crucible matches at higher tiers. Additionally, the update has resolved issues related to accessing Trials of Osiris during the introductory quest and fixed the drop rate of Adept weapons from a 7-win Flawless card. The update has also fixed an issue with catching the required Exotic Whispering Mothcarp fish for an upcoming Exotic Weapon quest in Destiny 2.

As part of the 7.1.0.3 update, a necessary change has been made to the spawn location in the Destiny 2's Ghosts of the Deep dungeon to prevent players from respawning outside of the playable zone during the final encounter. Furthermore, numerous fixes have been implemented for the commendation screen. Some players were unable to access the screen after using the Wish Wall in the Last Wish raid or completing Deep Dive activities. Other changes in the update include a fix to the Titan Exotic Khepri's Horn's returning wave to properly damage enemies and corrections to the perk description of the Warlock's Exotic Cenotaph Mask.

Regarding weapons, Sweet Business and Telesto projectiles will no longer inflict damage on enemies through walls and other geometric objects. Additionally, the Bump in the Night Rocket Launcher pattern is now accessible to all players, without the need for seasonal entitlement. Moreover, the patch specifically addresses the sensitivity problems caused by the Hollow Denial weapon for players with Semicircular Canal Dehiscence.

This patch is crucial for enhancing the player experience and ensuring the game's stability. However, the development team acknowledges that there are ongoing issues, such as the Warlock aspect bug in Destiny 2. Players can have confidence that Bungie will continue to release future updates to address these issues.
