Diggersby

Diggersby exhibits a particularly distinctive design, wherein it fully embraces its real-life inspiration. This creature adeptly utilizes its hybrid ear arms to excavate the earth and burrow below the surface. Its dual typing as Normal/Ground further adds to its uniqueness. However, other creatures like Ursaluna and the more recent Bloodmoon Ursaluna, featured in The Teal Mask DLC for Gen 9, take this distinctiveness to another level. Despite having a movepool and base stat total that may leave something to be desired, the introduction of a cross-gen evolution for Diggersby has the potential to elevate it as a formidable and exceptional Pokemon.

Gogoat

Amidst the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Geeta controversy, Gogoat has gained significant attention. It is not to be underestimated as it possesses unique qualities. The base stat total of Gogoat is more comparable to starter Pokemon rather than its counterparts. It would be intriguing to witness an evolution that could elevate its potential even further, possibly achieving a total stat of around 580. Additionally, an evolutionary change for Gogoat could introduce a new type to its existing Grass type. Rock seems to be a promising option due to the species' natural habitat and information found in the Pokedex. Currently, the Grass/Rock combination is only found in Lileep and Cradily, apart from Ogerpon with the Cornerstone Mask. Therefore, the addition of another Pokemon with this type combination would be a welcome sight.

Pangoro

While Pangoro's Dark/Fighting Pokemon type combo is decent, it is easily overshadowed by its Legendary counterpart, Urshifu. Pangoro's overall base stat total of 495 doesn't allow it to stand out much, especially considering its vulnerability to Fairy-type moves and lack of high-powered attacks. Given that Pangoro is inspired by pandas, it could greatly benefit from a cross-generational evolution that prioritizes slower, but bulkier and more potent characteristics. This would make Pangoro a valuable addition to Trick Room teams, surpassing the capabilities of its current iteration.

Noivern

If Pokemon Gen 10 were to introduce a new type to the chart, a potential addition being Sound, Noivern would be an excellent candidate for a cross-gen evolution. Noivern stands out as one of the few sound-based Pokemon in the series, known for its moves like Boomburst or Hyper Voice that revolve around sound mechanics. Transforming these moves into Sound-type moves would greatly enhance the evolution of this creature, making it a formidable force to be reckoned with. Even if Sound is not included as a new type in future Pokemon games, evolving Noivern into a new form would still greatly distinguish it, potentially leading to an expanded movepool, a higher base stat total, and an overall unique design.
