Artist JJonnie has created new evolutions for Magikarp, Lapras, and Swanna, showcasing impressive designs that could pass as official Pokemon designs.

Lapras and Swanna do not have official evolutions at present, but it is uncertain whether Game Freak will introduce them in the future. Additionally, there is a chance that Magikarp may eventually have an alternative evolution, although no official announcement has been made as of now.

A Pokemon enthusiast and talented artist has created fresh evolutions for Water-type Pokemon Magikarp, Lapras, and Swanna. Magikarp and Lapras are widely recognized Water-type Pokemon, having been present in the franchise since the Generation 1 games, Pokemon Red and Blue. Swanna, on the other hand, may not be as familiar to some, as it is a Water/Flying-type hybrid that was introduced in the Generation 5 games, Pokemon Black and White. Nevertheless, it still has its own dedicated fanbase.

As of now, neither Lapras nor Swanna have official evolutions, although Lapras does have a special Gigantamax form that presents it with a striking new appearance. However, Magikarp does go through an evolution process. In fact, it evolves into Gyarados, which is without a doubt one of the most beloved Pokemon in the entire franchise.

Reddit user and artist JJonnie has created new evolutions for three Pokemon: Magikarp, Lapras, and Swanna. The Magikarp evolution is named Magikoi, a Water/Fairy-type that combines elements of koi fish and the yin and yang symbol. The evolution for Lapras is called Valapress, optimized for speed and transportation, with a Grookey seen riding on its back. Lastly, there is a Swanna evolution named Swanella, which is clearly inspired by ballerinas, possibly referencing the ballet Swan Lake.

The designs are highly impressive and could easily be mistaken as official Pokemon creations. It remains to be seen if Game Freak, the developer of Pokemon, will create their own evolutions for Lapras and Swanna. It is also possible that an alternate evolution for Magikarp may be created, as has been done for other Pokemon in the past. However, it is unlikely that these evolutions will be introduced in the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC.

New Pokemon will be introduced in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, but there is no indication that any of them will be related to Magikarp, Lapras, or Swanna. If there were to be such evolutions, it would most likely happen in the Generation 10 Pokemon games. These games, however, have not been announced yet as of now. Rumor has it that the Generation 10 games will take place in a region inspired by Australia. Given that Game Freak and Nintendo are still actively supporting Pokemon Scarlet and Violet with new content, it will likely be a while before fans can expect the Generation 10 games. In the meantime, they can entertain themselves with fan art designs.
