Headquartered in Ars, the capital of the Asura Kingdom on the Central Continent, the Water God school is often considered the last of the three schools due to its passive nature. Its origins can be traced back to the ancient era of the Six-Faced World, the main series' setting. Legend tells of a humble swordsman who achieved the prestigious rank of Water God by defeating the Water Dragon King, who had been attacking a nation.
In response to the massive destruction caused by the Water Dragon King, the ruler of the land made a proclamation, offering his title and his daughter's hand in marriage to anyone capable of vanquishing the creature. After triumphing over the Water Dragon King, the swordsman, later known as Reidar, received a substantial financial reward but was denied the promised title and the king's daughter. Disheartened, Reidar departed, only to encounter the princess, who pledged her loyalty to him. Since then, it has been a tradition for the Water God's spouse to abandon their own household.

Its strategy revolves around allowing the opponent to initiate the attack and then analyzing their movements to create effective countermeasures. Masters of the Water God Style possess the ability to use Battle Aura and read their opponents' mana flow, which helps them determine how to respond using their heightened senses. Becoming The Water God
The Water God Style teaches the fundamentals of "Flow" and its different applications at the Beginner and Intermediate levels. From the Advanced rank and above, users have the ability to enhance their physical capabilities using Battle Aura. Similar to other schools, the Water God Style ranks progress from Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Water Saint, Water King, Water Emperor, and finally, Water God.
To be considered for the title of Water God, a candidate must have mastered at least three of the Five Secret Arts. There can only be one swordsman holding the rank of Water God, while lower ranks can have multiple swordsmen as long as their skill level is sufficient. Furthermore, any individual who attains the title of Water God will adopt the name of Reida Reia if they are female, or Reida Reidar if they are male.
