As Maddie and Percy spend more time together, their bond deepens, leading Percy to open up and fall in love with her. Consequently, he decides to alter his future plans. Shocked by this sudden turn of events, Percy's parents are thrown off guard, and Maddie finds herself grappling with how to sway Percy's decision once again, all while keeping a significant secret from him and dealing with her own financial struggles.
