Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is a popular fighting game based on the Dragon Ball franchise, featuring RPG elements. Developed by Dimps and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, the game has received regular updates since its initial release in October 2016. The latest update, launched on October 12th, 2023, includes the addition of the "Cross Versus" game mode and the highly anticipated "Festival of Universes" event. In this guide, we will delve into the details of how the Festival of Universes functions and provide instructions for players to participate in the event. To begin, players must first navigate to the newly introduced "Festival of Universes" lobby.
Festival of Universes Location
To access the Festival of Universes, players should make their way to the main Plaza and locate the Universe Lobby Reception bot positioned behind the Multiplayer Modes NPC near the prominent gate. Engaging with the bot grants players the option to select between the lobbies of Universe 6, 7, and 11.
How the Festival of Universes Works
Upon entering one of the lobbies, players can proceed to the reception robots of the "Festival of Universes" and select a team (players should go to the lobby of the desired team). To ensure fairness, teams with a lower number of members receive a universe point bonus, incentivizing players to choose a team with fewer members.
The Festival spans three months, with the total Glory Points earned by each team being calculated and tallied at the end of each week (this is when the Universe Point Bonus multiplier is applied as well). At this time, the placement of each Universe Team for the week is determined and corresponding rewards are granted. Based on their weekly placements, each team is assigned a score, which is accumulated by the end of the seventh week to determine the ultimate champions.
The Festival of Universes reception has the schedule, which should be frequently checked for score bonuses or special content throughout the week. For instance, during the first week of the festival, participating in Parallel Quests earns additional Glory.
How to Earn Glory
Participating in any in-game activity during the event and being part of a team can help players accumulate Glory points. Players will receive additional Glory points when engaging with the exclusive content available for that week.
