Centered around a young creative named Madoka Akagi, who has recently relocated to Tokyo, "Pocket Ni Boken wo Tsumekonde" follows her journey as she starts working at a small advertising agency called ADventure. However, Madoka struggles to settle down in her new environment. One day, she receives a special package from her mother, containing a Game Boy and a nostalgic copy of Pokémon Red that she used to play in her childhood. Curious, Madoka decides to revisit the game and embarks on a transformative journey through her experiences with it.
