Vanellope, the lively racer from Wreck-It Ralph, has arrived at Disney Dreamlight Valley, generating excitement among players who want to create a candy-themed area inspired by her charmingly sweet home. In addition to the range of fun furniture items with candy and gaming motifs from Wreck-It Ralph, players can now enhance the Valley by using the delightful Sugar Cookie Pavement and Deluxe Sugar Cookie Pavement.
Players get a taste of this delectable outdoor flooring while undertaking Vanellope's quest, "Extreme Biome Makeover," which is sure to leave them yearning for more to construct an even more impressive Sugar Rush track. To fulfill their sugary craving, here's what players need to craft these mouthwatering sidewalks in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Make Sugar Cookie Pavement and Deluxe Sugar Cookie Pavement
The key ingredient for creating the Sugar Cookie Pavement and Deluxe Sugar Cookie Pavement is Candy. To make a single tile of either Sugar Cookie Pavement or Deluxe Sugar Cookie Pavement, players will need to use 2 Candy at any crafting table. These crafting recipes can be found under the "Fence & Paving" category and are already unlocked by default. Therefore, players won't need to complete any quests in order to learn how to make these delicious tracks.
How to Make Candy in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The process of preparing Candy in Disney Dreamlight Valley is straightforward. Players can easily create this delightful treat by selecting any ingredient from the "Sweets" category available at the cooking station. To craft Candy, the player has the freedom to choose from a variety of ingredients, including:
Vanilla - Obtained via foraging in the Sunlit Plateau.
Cocoa Bean - Obtained via foraging in Glade of Trust and Sunlit Plateau areas.
Sugarcane can be grown from seeds or bought from Goofy's Stall in Dazzle Beach. Given that each tile requires 2 pieces of Candy to craft, it is advisable for the player to prioritize planting and harvesting Sugarcane. This is because the other ingredients can only be obtained through foraging, with each plant's respawn rates limiting their availability.
Differences Between Sugar Cookie Pavement and Deluxe Sugar Cookie Pavement
The Sugar Cookie Pavement has a vibrant checkerboard pattern of icing and sprinkles that players can easily arrange. When placed, this pathway seamlessly blends into the surrounding natural ground of the biome.
The Deluxe Sugar Cookie Pavement has a similar checkerboard design, but with smaller tiles. Each tile is adorned with a border of minty candies and chocolate bars. The border will only be visible on the edge tiles when this pavement is placed on the ground.
The two distinct types of pavement are not compatible for tiling, thus players must utilize Deluxe Sugar Cookie Pavement to cover the entire center area if they desire to create a larger flooring space bordered by the Deluxe pieces. Fortunately, crafting both pavements necessitates the same materials, making this task relatively simple.
How to Place Sugar Cookie and Deluxe Sugar Cookie Pavement in Dreamlight Valley
The Sugar Cookie Pavement and Deluxe Sugar Cookie Pavement are suitable for outdoor use only. To access the menu for viewing and placing outdoor pavement and tiles, the player should open the Furniture menu while outside.
Navigate to the bottom of the list and locate the section titled "Landscaping." From there, choose the "Paths" option. Select a desired pattern and drag it along the ground to place the pavement. By clicking and dragging on the corners, the player can create a continuous path as long as they have sufficient pieces.
