Final Fantasy 14 players will have the opportunity to transform into the legendary firebird, the Phoenix, as part of the game's upcoming 10th Anniversary celebration. To obtain the exclusive Rising Phoenix mount, players must complete a limited-time quest. Additionally, there will be various other quests and activities for players to enjoy during the celebration.

Leading up to the start of the 10th Anniversary in Final Fantasy 14, players only have a few more days to participate in the Moonfire Faire event and acquire the Phoenix Riser outfit. This outfit, inspired by shows like Power Rangers and Kamen Rider, includes a unique helmet that can be seen by Viera and Hrothgar players, and can be customized with different colors. On Saturday, August 26, the Moonfire Faire will come to a close, and the Phoenix Riser outfit will not be obtainable again until 2024 when it becomes available for purchase on the FF14 Online Store. However, the following day marks the beginning of a significant milestone in the Final Fantasy 14 journey.

Starting from Sunday, August 27 at 12:00 AM Pacific, Final Fantasy 14 will host The Rising, a special 10th Anniversary edition event. This event will run until early October when Patch 6.5, Growing Light, is released. Players interested in obtaining the Rising Phoenix mount must first speak with Kipih Jakkya, a Miqo'te in Ul'dah, to initiate the "Siblings Rising" quest chain. Upon completing this quest, players will unlock the ability to transform into the Rising Phoenix, which includes a unique action called "A Flame Reborn" for added cosmetic appeal. Additionally, players can spend a small amount of gil to acquire a new poster for their in-game house and also participate in a separate side quest to learn more about the Phoenix and a previously absent character.

Final Fantasy 14 and Creative Business Unit 3, the developer of the highly acclaimed MMORPG, both embrace the Phoenix as a significant symbol. In 2010, Final Fantasy 14 faced a disastrous 1.0 release, leading to its shutdown in 2012. However, it resurfaced in 2013 as A Realm Reborn, and since then, it has undergone a decade of transformation and progress, earning a special place in the hearts of Final Fantasy fans.
