Starfield, the latest RPG from Bethesda, has experienced its most successful game launch to date, attracting over 10 million players within its initial two weeks.

As the player base continues to expand, it is expected that there will be an increase in references and reimaginations of beloved games, movies, and franchises, particularly Star Wars, within the game.

A skilled player of Starfield has constructed Greez Dritus' Stinger Mantis spacecraft from the Star Wars Jedi duology. Released by Bethesda Game Studios as their latest RPG and first new intellectual property in nearly three decades, Starfield has received a tremendous response since its recent launch. In just two weeks, the game has amassed an impressive player base of over 10 million.

Earlier this year, Respawn Entertainment unveiled Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the highly anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Despite encountering initial technical difficulties upon release, Jedi: Survivor has garnered significant praise for its exceptionally crafted narrative and well-developed characters. Throughout both games, the Stinger Mantis serves as the primary mode of transportation for the Jedi protagonist, Cal Kestis, and his companions as they journey across various planets. Consequently, the spacecraft has become an iconic symbol within the Star Wars franchise.

After Starfield was released, numerous talented and imaginative players got their hands on the RPG's extensive shipbuilding system. They created a wide range of ships inspired by various franchises, including Pokemon, Metroid, and of course, Star Wars. Recently, a Reddit user named dstroyer123 shared an image of their Starfield creation, a ship resembling the Stinger Mantis from Star Wars Jedi. In keeping with the original design, dstroyer123 opted for the ship's signature blue and silver color scheme.

One notable feature of the Stinger Mantis is its large rotating fin during flight. While dstroyer123's version in Starfield cannot replicate this fin rotation in space, it remarkably captures the essence of the spacecraft. It would also be fascinating to explore the interior of dstoyer123's Mantis and determine if it accurately reflects the layout of the Jedi games' actual Mantis. Including a cooking station, similar to Greez Dritus' onboard kitchen, along with a weapon workbench resembling Cal's workbench at the rear of the ship, would contribute to a faithful recreation. Adding a star map table in the center would complete the solid replication of the Mantis' interior.

Starfield's shipbuilding system has captured the attention of numerous players since the game's recent release. As Starfield continues to attract a growing number of gamers in the coming weeks, months, and years, we can expect to see a multitude of creative ship designs referencing iconic games, movies, and franchises, particularly Star Wars. With Bethesda's latest RPG, players have a vast selection of recognizable ships from the Star Wars universe to recreate. Starfield is currently accessible for PC and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
