When players achieve Friendship Level 10 with Vanellope, they unlock the quest "Fungeons and Dragons". Upon completing her previous quest titled "Boss Up," players were rewarded with a Memory Map that highlights crucial locations within the valley. Interestingly, these marked locations play a vital role in the new quest.

How to Complete the Quest "Fungeons and Dragons"

Once players reach Friendship Level 10, Vanellope approaches them with concerns about strange occurrences in her house. She suspects a connection to the Memory Map and invites the player to join her inside her home. Upon arriving, players discover an enchanted treasure chest securely locked in Vanellope's house. To unlock the chest and access the hidden treasure, players are required to engage in Vanellope's thrilling "Funquest" adventure, initiating the quest known as "Fungeons and Dragons."

Visit Remy’s Restaurant and Talk With Merlin

In Vanellope's Funquest game, players are tasked with defeating the villainous Mastermind and obtaining keys to unlock the mystical chest. Vanellope offers players three different hero personas to choose from. Players are free to select any archetype they prefer, as there are no functional differences between them. However, they are instructed to wear clothing that matches the appropriate theme associated with their chosen persona. For instance, if players opt to be a Noble, they are required to wear an item of Elegant clothing.

As the first stop in Funquest, players will find themselves at Remy's Restaurant, affectionately known as the "Inn." Here, a wizard awaits their arrival, serving as a crucial point of contact. Although initially expecting to speak with Merlin, participants quickly realize that it is actually Anna, from Vanellope's captivating tale, who assumes the enchanting role of the wizard. To progress further in their adventure, players must engage in a conversation with Anna, who can be conveniently found in close proximity.

Speak with Anna and Obtain the First Key

In Anna's interactive narrative, players have the freedom to make choices as they engage with the story. Once the segment reaches its conclusion, Anna presents the initial key required to unlock the chest. Once in possession of this first key, players must return to Vanellope to continue their thrilling adventure.

Travel to the Mystical Cave and Defeat the Guardian

The journey through the Funquest adventure continues as players delve into the depths of the Mystical Cave, nestled along the breathtaking shores of Dazzle Beach. This cavernous expanse is no stranger to the player, having been explored during various quests on previous occasions. Embarking on this leg of the adventure, players will brave the treacherous path to the very bottom level of the cave, where they will encounter Olaf, the formidable guardian of the second key. In order to obtain this coveted key, players must engage in a battle of wits with Olaf, solving a series of his cunning riddles. Once the riddles are conquered, the second key will be bestowed upon the player, calling them to make their triumphant return to Vanellope's side once again.

Prepare for the Battle with Mastermind

To retrieve the third and final key, the player must ready themselves to confront the sinister Mastermind. To prepare, they have to complete the following tasks:

Equip the Pixel Sword obtained during the "Boss Up" quest.

Prepare three Raspberry Boba Teas, requiring 3 Milk, 3 Sugarcane, and 3 Raspberry in total.

Fetch the Monster Bestiary from the floor of the library in Arendelle Castle, Anna and Kristoff's home.

Navigate Vitalys Mines and Face the Mastermind

Once the player is fully equipped, they must embark on a treacherous journey into Vitalys Mines in Sunlit Plateau. It is here that the enigmatic Mastermind unveils themselves, presenting a daunting challenge to the player. They are tasked with navigating through the perplexing maze of mines, demolishing doors and overcoming adversaries in their path.

Cardboard stands have been strategically placed as doors and enemies along the pathways in the Mines. The Royal Pickaxe can be used to defeat most enemies and open the doors, while the fire elemental enemies require the Royal Watering Can. Defeating enemies will result in them dropping Gold.

Once deep within the mines, the player will encounter a fierce dragon enemy. Despite its menacing appearance, the dragon can be easily defeated using the Pickaxe. Once the dragon is defeated, the player can proceed to Princess Lightyear, who will reward them with the final key. If desired, the player can return to the entrance to boast about their victory to Mastermind before heading back to Vanellope's home.

Return to Vanellope and Claim the Treasure

After completing the Funquest, Vanellope joyfully unlocks the chest using the keys, granting the player a collection of cardboard enemy standees that can be exhibited either indoors or outdoors. Additionally, she presents the Sugar Rush Racer, a cherished keepsake from a previous adventure, marking the end of the "Fungeons and Dragons" quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
