In Disney Dreamlight Valley, players have the freedom to personalize different aspects of the game, including their homes, the surrounding scenery, and the placement of residents' homes. The developers have introduced a new feature that takes customization to the next level. Players can now change the appearance of their frequently used tools, such as the Shovel and Fishing Pole, by purchasing exclusive Dream Styles. These unique skins allow players to customize each tool to their liking.

What Are Dream Styles in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, players can enhance their gaming experience by transforming the appearance of their home and the Valley's residents using Dream Styles. Additionally, players now have the exciting option to apply special Dream Styles to their trusty Royal Tools, giving them a fresh and distinctive look while carrying out their day-to-day tasks in the Valley.

Currently, players have access to 5 unique Dream Styles for their Royal Tools in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Each Dream Style offers a visually appealing makeover for specific tools such as the Watering Can, Shovel, Pickaxe, Fishing Rod, and Camera.

To obtain these Dream Styles, players must purchase the complete bundle from the in-game Premium Item Shop using Moonstones, the game's paid currency. It should be noted that the Royal Tool Dream Styles can only be acquired as a bundle and cannot be purchased individually. The developers of the game have not yet announced if they will make individual tool Dream Styles available for separate purchase in future shop updates or if they will always be bundled.

The Royal Tool Dream Styles in the Premium Item Shop have limited availability. The shop updates its inventory every seven days, replacing the current items with new ones. If players fail to purchase a Dream Style during its availability period, they will have to wait for the next opportunity to buy it with a future shop update. However, there is no way to predict or guarantee when a Dream Style, or any other item, will return to the Premium Item Shop.

How to Customize the Player's Royal Tools

To apply a Dream Style to your Royal Tools, simply follow these steps:

Access the Wardrobe menu by pressing the designated hotkey (V for keyboard/mouse users or through the Inventory menu on consoles).

Select the Tools category, located in the fourth slot on the top row of categories.

Select any of the available Dream Styles shown underneath each tool's name to change that tool's appearance.

All Dream Styles are purely cosmetic and do not alter the attributes or functionality of the tool they are applied to. Players can continue to utilize potions that affect tools, such as Miracle Shovel Varnish, without any modification to the benefits they provide.

Nefarious Set

The Nefarious Set is an exclusive collection of 5 Dream Styles, each corresponding to a Royal Tool, available only in the Premium Item Shop. This set can be obtained by purchasing it for 3,750 Moonstones. The last opportunity to acquire this Dream Style was from June 14, 2023, to June 21, 2023. It has made an appearance in the Premium Item Shop only once.
