Introducing Hisuian Typhlosion
An upcoming Pokemon GO Raid Day event will introduce a powerful Pokemon from Pokemon Legends: Arceus for a limited time. Hisuian Typhlosion from Pokemon Legends: Arceus will make its debut in Pokemon GO in an upcoming Raid Day event on January 14. During the event, Hisuian Typhlosion will appear in three-star raids, and Pokemon GO players may earn additional rewards alongside the successful capture of the Ghost Flame Pokemon.
Pokemon GO Hisuian Typhlosion
Typhlosion made its Pokemon GO debut in 2017, and fans eagerly awaited its Hisuian counterpart after the launch of Pokemon Legends: Arceus for Nintendo Switch in 2022. Unlike the original Fire-type Typhlosion from the Johto region, the Hisuian Typhlosion is a Fire and Ghost-type Pokemon believed to eat and purify lost spirits. As a result, it's often referred to as a Ghost Flame Pokemon in lore from the ancient Hisui region. Nearly two years after the release of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Pokemon GO players will finally be able to add the Hisuian Typhlosion to their collection.
Niantic's latest blog post for Pokemon GO confirms that the Hisuian Typhlosion Raid Day event will be held on January 14 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time. Similarly to Pokemon GO Community Day events, Hisuian Typhlosion will only be available for a short duration. Players must work together and defeat Hisuian Typhlosion in three-star raids in order to capture the Pokemon. A number of event bonuses will be active, including up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs and an increased chance to encounter a shiny Hisuian Typhlosion.

Looking Ahead
January 2024 is shaping up to be an exciting month for Pokemon GO, with various Raid events on the horizon. Niantic's latest announcements suggest that the game will be buzzing with activity as trainers gear up for new challenges and encounters. However, Niantic teases that 'only time will tell' when Hisuian Typhlosion will return in Pokemon GO, so players may want to prepare for the event and ensure they're ready to defeat and catch the Pokemon.
As the anticipation builds and trainers await the arrival of Hisuian Typhlosion, the Pokemon GO community is abuzz with excitement. The prospect of encountering and capturing the powerful Ghost Flame Pokemon has ignited a sense of adventure and camaraderie among players. With the Raid Day event fast approaching, trainers are eager to test their skills and add Hisuian Typhlosion to their collection.
