Cinnamon, a groundbreaking film that captivated audiences at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival, marks the impressive collaboration between Village Roadshow and NBA star Kevin Garnett. Written and directed by Bryian Keith Montgomery Jr., Cinnamon follows the journey of Hailey Kilgore, a promising singer whose life takes an unexpected turn when she becomes entangled in a tragic crime. Serving as the debut film in Village Roadshow's Black Noir Cinema slate, this project was initiated by Garnett after being introduced to Village Roadshow's CEO Steve Mosko through his co-star in Uncut Gems, Adam Sandler.
Notably, music plays a vital role in Cinnamon, with Kilgore delivering breathtaking performances in both acting and singing. To enhance the cinematic world surrounding Kilgore's character, the filmmakers sought the talent of Daniel Ciurlizza, an accomplished composer renowned for his work in various mediums such as films, trailers, and television. Screen Rant is thrilled to present exclusive previews of two compositions tied to Cinnamon: one from the highly anticipated score album and another from a two-song EP that showcases Kilgore's exceptional abilities.
