World of Warcraft is introducing a new update, Patch 10.1.7, which will allow players to engage in Timewalking dungeons at lower levels. This exciting change will enable players to experience iconic dungeons and raids from the game's history at a reduced level. By participating in Timewalking events, players can earn Timewarped Badges that can be used to obtain catch-up gear, increase reputation with old factions, upgrade Heirlooms, and acquire other collectibles. Currently, players must be at level 60 to join Timewalking Dungeons and purchase items from Timewalking vendors.
The level requirement for Timewalking dungeons in Patch 10.1.7 of World of Warcraft will be significantly lowered. The minimum level to queue into these dungeons has been lowered on the Dragonflight Public Test Realm to match the maximum level of each expansion. As a result, players can participate in Timewalking events starting at level 30, and can participate in all of them by level 45.
However, players will still need to be at least level 70 to pick up the weekly Timewalking event quest that rewards endgame raid gear. Nonetheless, they can still earn currency and gear from boss drops, including a guaranteed quest item drop that can be exchanged for 500 Timewarped Badges once per week after their first dungeon clear. This change will provide players with more options for leveling alts, collecting cosmetics and gear, and completing Traveler’s Log tasks during Timewalking periods.
Many players are delighted to see the upcoming change in World of Warcraft. The minimum level requirement for Timewalking in Dragonflight had been increased from 50 to 60, much to the disappointment of many players. However, they are now excited to learn that the level requirement will soon be lowered again. Some fans even hope for a further reduction, suggesting that players should be able to queue in at level 10, when the dungeon finder in World of Warcraft becomes accessible. This would provide them with more options for leveling their characters.
Although it is unlikely that World of Warcraft will lower the level requirements further at the moment, there is anticipation for other interesting updates in Timewalking. Evidence has surfaced suggesting that the Siege of Orgrimmar raid may be introduced to WoW Timewalking. Additionally, players are expecting that Battle for Azeroth dungeons will soon be included in the event rotation. Fans will have to patiently wait and see what new additions Timewalking will bring in future Dragonflight patches.
World of Warcraft is available now for PC.
