In Like a Dragon 7, Party Chats and Table Talks were implemented, allowing for dialogue to be triggered in restaurants and special locations throughout the game's cities. This provided opportunities for Ichi and the crew to engage in discussions outside of the main storyline, showcasing their personalities and adding comedic banter. The RGG RoundUp footage reveals that Party Chats will be making a comeback with a new name, "Walk and Talks." Similar to their predecessor, they serve the same purpose but with a twist. Notably, Walk and Talk prompts now allow Ichiban from Like a Dragon to record certain character details in a diary-like entry. This showcases his attentiveness and care towards his friends. The diary entries are structured like a Bingo board, where completing a row, column, or diagonal line rewards bonus experience.

It appears that each newly recorded character detail grants 20 EXP, and completing a Bingo grants an additional 30. This adds another element to building bonds with party members. This system not only cleverly "gamifies" friendship but also perfectly aligns with Ichiban Kasuga as a protagonist, who values and pays close attention to his companions. As a player, having access to each character's Bingo board will be incredibly useful for keeping track of their finer details, especially during long gameplay sessions.
