Among the multitude of usual merchandise, occasionally there are items that truly stand out, and the most recent announcement undoubtedly falls into that category.

Last Friday, PR Times revealed the arrival of a new Pochita plush in the market. However, this is not your ordinary plush toy; it is an oversized, gigantic, and exceptionally soft Pochita! While the original Pochita character in Chainsaw Man is no larger than a chubby feline, this plush toy is significantly bigger. This ample size makes it ideal for cuddling and sleeping, as demonstrated in the press release by a woman using Pochita as a comfortable pillow.

Pochita, a devil disguised as an eccentric orange dog, is Denji's closest companion throughout his childhood, providing him much-needed companionship during his time of homelessness and isolation. Contrary to typical devil behavior, Pochita establishes a deep bond with the lonely boy instead of devouring him. In a selfless act, Pochita sacrifices himself to save Denji's life, consequently granting him the extraordinary abilities of the chainsaw devil.

Despite appearing in only a few initial episodes, Pochita quickly endeared himself to viewers, capturing their hearts in a remarkably short period of time. His significance cannot be overstated, as Denji's powers rely entirely on him, making him crucial to the anime's existence. Pochita's simplistic and comical character design, juxtaposed with the intricate and terrifying appearance of other devils in the series, adds to his irresistible charm, solidifying his status as a beloved fan-favorite.
