Interestingly, this month's tasks appear to be encouraging players to level up new characters in World of Warcraft.

While some of the tasks are tied to holiday events or follow the monthly pattern, a few of them are specifically designed to facilitate the leveling of alternate characters. October is the Perfect Month to Level Alts

Since the introduction of the Trading Post in World of Warcraft, similar tasks have been available every month. These tasks usually involve completing world quests, participating in dragonriding races, defeating raid or dungeon bosses, and performing various emotes throughout the game world. Additionally, there are usually a few tasks related to newer additions or monthly events. The same pattern can be observed in October, but Blizzard has added new incentives for leveling characters.

In contrast to previous months, this month's Traveler's Log will award players points for reaching specific level milestones. Players will receive rewards for reaching levels 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and even 70 by the end of the month. This means that players can earn points by creating a new character and leveling them to the maximum level. By doing so, they will be able to complete a significant portion of their monthly Traveler's Log without much difficulty.

In addition to the leveling rewards, there are further tasks to incentivize players to level a new character in World of Warcraft this month. Each month, there is a task based on the number of quests completed, and this month players can earn rewards for completing 10, 25, and 50 quests by the end of the month. If players are leveling an alt for other tasks, these three tiers should be relatively easy to complete, and some may even do so without realizing it.

Furthermore, this month's Traveler's Log rewards players for completing quests in Pandaria. With the leveling revamp in World of Warcraft, players can now choose the expansion they wish to level in. By creating a new character and selecting Mists of Pandaria as their leveling adventure, players can complete the questing task associated with it. Completing this task alongside the leveling-specific tasks and 50 quests should allow players to easily finish the entire Traveler's Log.

After completing the Traveler's Log, players can use their earned Tender to purchase thrilling cosmetics and also utilize their newly developed max-level character for finishing endgame content.
