This update, called the Final Horizon, marks the conclusion of the game's post-launch content and addresses the desires of fans. Along with the addition of these characters, an entirely new story is introduced, potentially altering the game's ending and final boss. Before confronting the Supreme Titan on Ouranos Island, Sonic and Sage devise a plan to convert the energy of the Cyber Corruption into a new power. Sonic assigns his three friends to explore the island and collect the seven Chaos Emeralds. While the previous teaser trailer lacked gameplay footage, this latest trailer demonstrates the anticipated playstyles of these characters.

The trailer highlights Sonic's friends and their new abilities in the update, allowing them to battle guardians on Ouranos Island. Amy Rose, equipped with her signature hammer, now incorporates magical girl elements with her fortunetelling tarot cards. These rediscovered cards can be used alongside her hammer to navigate the island and combat enemies. Additionally, Amy can ride her hammer as if it were a witch's broomstick, with her tarot cards forming a wheel to strike down foes in her path.

Next, the trailer showcases Tails' gameplay, which combines various play styles from previous games.
