The new episode of Match Officials: Mic'd Up, showcasing the in-game audio of Premier League match officials, will be broadcast on We Premier League on Tuesday night at 7pm. PGMOL chief Howard Webb and former Liverpool and England striker Michael Owen will be featured in the program.
The series seeks to clarify referee decisions through the use of match footage and previously undisclosed audio.
Webb joined renowned pundits Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher on a groundbreaking episode of Monday Night Football at the beginning of the season, where they analyzed and elucidated various VAR calls.
Webb took us behind the curtain to shed light on the VAR process, showcasing both accurate and inaccurate calls. The aim was to enhance transparency regarding one of the most controversial aspects of the game.
"Our objective is to increase transparency," stated Webb during Monday Night Football. "We understand the public's desire for more details on the refereeing procedures, especially with the introduction of VAR."
