Call of Duty: Warzone will bring back two fan-favorite maps, Rebirth Island and Fortune's Keep, in 2024, providing players with the opportunity to revisit these old favorites.

Fortune's Keep will make an earlier comeback this year, followed by the later arrival of Rebirth Island, ensuring a varied map rotation and thrilling content for players of Call of Duty: Warzone.

In conjunction with the timeless maps, the inclusion of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will introduce Urzikstan, a fresh map characterized by its dense environment and emphasis on high-speed mobility.

Call of Duty: Warzone is set to reintroduce two beloved maps, Fortune's Keep and Rebirth Island, in the coming year. Since the release of the immensely popular free-to-play Call of Duty battle royale over three years ago, various maps have been added and removed. While the release of new maps is always exciting, many Call of Duty: Warzone players have been eagerly awaiting the return of their old favorites. Activision plans to fulfill this desire in 2024.

Rebirth Island initially debuted in December 2020 as a distinct addition to Call of Duty: Warzone. Setting it apart from Verdasnk, Rebirth Island limited player count to just 40. On the other hand, the Fortune's Keep map was introduced much later on June 22, 2022, as a feature of Season 4 in Call of Duty: Vanguard. It, too, incorporated the respawn-enabled Resurgence mode and was restricted to 40 players. However, both maps were retired when Warzone 2 launched in late 2022, as Activision shifted their focus to Al Mazrah.

Rebirth Island and Fortune's Keep, highly anticipated by players since the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone 2, have officially been announced to make a return. Activision made this exciting announcement during the Call of Duty Next Showcase, where they also hinted at the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and beyond.

Although fans will have to wait a little longer, Fortune's Keep is set to make its return first, scheduled for "early next year." Rebirth Island, on the other hand, is planned for a later release in 2024. This resurrection promises a vibrant map rotation for Call of Duty: Warzone, adding to its history as the most diverse one yet.

In addition to the return of classic maps, Call of Duty: Warzone has more in store for players. The upcoming integration with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will bring a new map called Urzikstan, described as a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This means that players can anticipate a wide range of thrilling map options in the near future. Some fans may find the return of Rebirth Island and Fortune's Keep even more exciting than Urzikstan. Nevertheless, the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 promises exciting new content for all Call of Duty: Warzone players.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
