The English dub of Undead Unluck is set to premiere on December 13, 2023. This beloved series from David Production has been garnering widespread praise for its original storyline, beloved characters, and the captivating dynamic between the main protagonists, Andy and Fuuko.
TMS Entertainment has confirmed that the English dub will be released this Wednesday, and will be available for streaming on Hulu, Disney+, and Star+. Tony Oliver will be directing the dub at Bang Zoom! Studios, with voice actors such as Ben Balmaceda, Jackie Lastra, Aleks Le, Daniel Walton, and Amber Lee Connors already confirmed for the English dub roles.
The premise and appeal of the anime
The Undead Unluck series centers around Fuuko Izumo, a young girl with the ability known as Unluck, which causes those around her to suffer from misfortune and die. When she decides to end her life, she meets Andy, who possesses the ability to regenerate and is seeking a meaningful way to die.
