Uncovering the Hidden Gnome Spots in Fortnite OG

In Fortnite OG, the original map and loot pool have made a comeback. However, fans can expect more than just that in this nostalgic season. After years of absence, the pesky and enigmatic gnomes have returned, offering players the opportunity to earn 20,000 XP per gnome. Throughout Fortnite's OG season, players can locate 10 gnomes, granting them a total of 200,000 XP. This XP is equivalent to 2.5 levels in the Battle Pass.

Gnomes have a long history with Fortnite and have often been involved in mischievous activities while 100 players battle it out for the coveted Victory Royale. These gnomes can only be found in specific areas, and once a player interacts with them, the gnome disappears permanently, ensuring that the XP is a one-time reward.

In the image above, players will have the opportunity to locate the approximate area of each of the ten gnomes. Finding the gnomes can be quite effortless, owing to Fortnite's implementation of a mechanism that displays a "!" symbol when players are in proximity. This symbol directs players towards the precise location of the gnome, both on their visual screen and on their map. It is important to note that each gnome in Fortnite OG rewards players with 20,000 XP, and there are a total of 10 gnomes. To reach Junk Junction, players should proceed North until they encounter a colossal llama structure constructed entirely from metal materials. It is at this location that the sought-after gnome can be found, leisurely situated amidst a heap of bricks.

Players should head towards the southern part of the soccer pitch upon entering Pleasant Park to locate this gnome. The gnome can be found sitting beside a campfire, accompanied by a teddy bear friend and a cooler.

Located between Tilted Towers and Greasy Grove, there is a mountain featuring three trees and a colossal rock. Perched upon this massive rock, a gnome is seated, accompanied by three adorable teddy bears.

Located at Shifty Shafts, players can find this gnome in the lower levels of the mines. To discover a gnome engaged in a card game with some teddy bears, it is necessary to demolish the wooden wall using a Pickaxe/Harvesting Tool.

Adjacent to Shfity Shafts lies a mountain that players should ascend, situated closest to the bend of the river. Atop this mountain, an abandoned Battle Bus awaits discovery, accompanied by a gnome firmly embedded head-first in the soil. Evidently, this particular gnome neglected to activate their glider.

Heading towards Dusty Divot, players simply need to stick to the western side of the enormous crater. There, they will come across a small pool of water where a gnome can be seen enjoying some sun with its teddy bear companion.

At Risky Reels, players can discover two camper vans located in the northern section of this point of interest. Tucked away behind these vans is a gnome patiently awaiting both their collection and a delightful dinner date.

Within the heart of Wailing Woods, gamers have the opportunity to discover a labyrinth. Adjacent to this hedge maze, there lies an imprisoned Gnome enclosed in a sturdy metal cage. The Gnome can be liberated by demolishing the cage, allowing players to claim it as a reward and earn valuable XP.

The sought-after gnome players are looking for can be found in the North area of Lonely Lodge, enjoying its time next to a serene body of water. Despite the strict rule against fishing, this mischievous gnome blatantly disregards it, casually holding a fishing rod. Those troublesome gnomes…

Gnome #10

The gnome can be found towards the Eastern side of Paradise Palms, situated next to the cliff. It stands by two graves, one of which is adorned with flowers. To acquire their XP, players must disrupt this mourning and retrieve the gnome.

What's The Deal With Gnomes In Fortnite?

In Fortnite's early seasons during Chapter One, the developers cleverly weaved stories into the game's map. Regularly, the map would undergo subtle transformations, particularly involving gnomes, whether they shifted positions following an update or ended up in peculiar scenarios that revealed their unique personalities outside of their usual movement patterns.

Gnomes have always played a significant role in the original Fortnite map, and numerous quests and objectives revolved around these whimsical creatures, particularly when it involved earning XP. Despite their appearance as ordinary garden gnomes, there is more than meets the eye. Fortnite OG is scheduled to remain active until December 2, with a plethora of changes introduced from Chapter 1, Season 5, all the way through Chapter 1, Season 10. As a Gen Z fan, I am thrilled about the return of the hidden gnomes in Fortnite OG. The gnomes have always been a quirky and beloved part of the Fortnite experience, and their reappearance in the original map brings back fond memories of the early days of the game. The XP reward for finding all 10 gnomes is also a great incentive to explore the map and discover all of their hiding spots.

Overall, I think the hidden gnomes are a fun and nostalgic addition to Fortnite OG, and I can't wait to see what other surprises Epic Games has in store for us in this season.
