Disney Dreamlight Valley provides numerous quests featuring well-known Disney characters and nostalgic references to their iconic films. Given the extensive history of Toy Story, which includes four movies and spinoffs, it comes as no surprise that players will come across a multitude of characters and elements from the series during their adventures in Dreamlight Valley.
One such quest series is offered by Buzz Lightyear, where players engage in a multi-part quest involving the delightful green aliens that Buzz and Woody initially encountered in a claw machine at Pizza Planet in the first Toy Story movie. These Alien Toys have now escaped from the confines of the claw machine in Woody's Carousel and can be found scattered throughout the entire Valley. It is now the player's responsibility to locate and track down all of these Alien Toys in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Start Collect 'Em All: Attic Mode
The player must first complete the quests "Collect 'Em All: Little Green Men!" and "Collect 'Em All: Strangers from the Outside!" in order to begin the quest "Collect ‘Em All: Attic Mode." This quest series is not dependent on the player's Friendship level with Buzz Lightyear and is separate from his Friendship quest series, which begins with "A Space Ranger Recruit."
Once the quest becomes available, typically 36 hours after completing the previous quest, the player will automatically receive the quest “Collect 'Em All: Attic Mode” upon logging into the game. The player must then go to Buzz Lightyear to initiate a new mission involving the invasion of the Valley by the little green aliens.
How to Complete Collect 'Em All: Attic Mode
When the player encounters Buzz Lightyear, he expresses worry about the Alien Toys entering "Attic Mode." This is problematic as toys are meant to be played with and not stored away. Buzz assigns the player the mission of locating 15 Alien Toys by exploring various known hiding places in the Valley.
The 15 Alien Toys can be discovered in two specific locations: Remy's Restaurant and the Dream Castle. However, it is crucial to understand that, similar to Buzz's past quests, players cannot acquire and collect all 15 toys simultaneously.
Upon accepting the quest, players have the opportunity to track down and acquire 8 out of the 15 Alien Toys needed. The remaining seven toys remain inaccessible and undiscoverable for approximately 36 hours. It is essential to note that all 15 toys can be found exclusively either at Chez Remy or the Dream Castle.
Four toys will appear in Remy's Restaurant and another four will spawn in the Dream Castle. It is important to thoroughly explore all four levels of the Castle in search of Alien Toys, as they can be easily spotted sparkling on the ground. Players having trouble finding the toys may find it helpful to lower the game's music volume while increasing the sound effect volume, as the toys emit a sound when they sparkle.
After 36 hours, when the second set of toys appears, four of them can be located in Chez Remy, while the remaining three are distributed across the various floors of the Dream Castle.
Once all 15 of the lost Alien Toys have been retrieved by the player, they should return them to Buzz Lightyear. He will collect the toys and in return, reward the player with another Space Ranger Supply Kit. This particular kit will include an assortment of flowers, including some more uncommon species.
After 36 more hours have elapsed since submitting "Collect 'Em All: Attic Mode," the player will initiate Buzz's ultimate mission "We Are Eternally Grateful!" which entails the little green aliens.
Disney Dreamlight Valley can be played on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
