Squirrels are usually docile and approachable creatures, making them easy to interact with and feed. When encountering a White Squirrel, simply approach it and offer food. Peanuts are its preferred snack, but it also enjoys fruits such as apples, bananas, blueberries, and cherries.

In order to make the White Squirrel your companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players must feed it at least two times to earn enough EXP. The feeding process often yields Dream Shards and Memory Shards as rewards.

7 Calico Rabbit

Engage with the bunny by offering a Carrot, known to be its favorite food. Additionally, the Rabbit is fond of an assortment of Grains, Spices & Herbs, and Vegetables.

Similar to Squirrels, the Calico Rabbit requires being fed twice in order to become a companion. This elusive Critter can only be found on Thursdays from 8 AM to 2 PM, making it quite a rare encounter for players.

6 Black Sea Turtle

At Dazzle Beach, Dreamers can spend their leisure time trying to befriend a Sea Turtle by earning its trust. This shy critter will immediately retreat into its protective shell until players leave. To interact with a Sea Turtle, simply stay by its side until it feels comfortable enough to come out.

The Black Sea Turtle is the rarest breed of turtles, and like others, it has a preference for Seaweed in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Seafood is also an acceptable option. Feeding it three times should unlock the turtle as a companion. This sea creature is available from 10 AM to 4 PM on Mondays.

5 Blue Raccoon

In order to attract the Blue Raccoon, Dreamers must acquire Blueberries, which are its favorite food. Additionally, Raspberry and Gooseberry can be used as alternative options.

To successfully feed the Blue Raccoon and establish a connection, players should approach it cautiously and wait for the Critter to take notice. Once it raises its head, remain still until the Raccoon lowers its head. Repeat this process until an opportunity for interaction arises. It is necessary to feed the Blue Raccoon a minimum of three times in order to earn its companionship.

4 Pink Crocodile/ White Crocodile

The Glade of Trust requires 5,000 Dreamlight for unlocking, therefore it is advisable to save up some Dreamlight before attempting to befriend Crocodiles. The process is similar to befriending Raccoons, resembling the game Red Light Green Light. Approach the Crocodile when its head is down, and halt when the head is raised.

The Pink or White Crocodile is not very common, and Dreamers who desire it as a companion must feed the Critter a minimum of four times. Its preferred food includes Lobster, as well as Fish and Seafood caught from the Glade of Trust.

3 Orchid Sunbird

Instead of having a preference for just one type of food, Orchid Sunbirds actually enjoy a diverse range of flowers. They particularly like anything that is pink or purple, and the Pink Bromeliad in Disney Dreamlight Valley is especially easy for them to access as it is found in the same Biome as the bird, which is the Sunlit Plateau.

In order for Dreamers to establish a bond and acquire a new Critter friend, they need to feed the Orchid Sunbird at least four times. This particular species is quite rare and can only be spotted on Fridays between 9 AM and 3 PM.

2 Red Fox

Although the Red Fox is a predator and players are their prey, they can still befriend the Foxes by using the same approach as they would with a Rabbit. When players approach a Red Fox, it will jump with joy and then quickly flee. By following it back and forth three times, players can eventually catch it.

To further develop a relationship with the Red Fox, players can offer it a White Sturgeon, as this is its favorite food in Disney Dreamlight Valley. By feeding the Fox White Sturgeon at least five times, players can obtain it as a companion. The Red Fox can be found in Frosted Heights between 2 AM and 8 AM on Saturdays.

1 Brown Raven

Ravens reside in one of the most luxurious Biomes within Disney Dreamlight Valley. The Forgotten Lands require a hefty sum of 15,000 Dreamlight, while the Sunlit Plateau demands 7,000 Dreamlight. These two locations are the sole pathways that lead to the Forgotten Lands.

To unlock the Biome, approach the Brown Raven and remain stationary beneath it. The bird will gracefully soar in circular patterns before gradually descending towards the player. By offering the Brown Raven a 5-star meal on at least five separate days, it can be obtained as a faithful companion. This particular breed of Ravens is exclusively available on Tuesdays from 6 PM until 12 AM.
