The glitch clip catches the attention of the Starfield subreddit, where fans affectionately label it as a "classic" Bethesda bug.

Notwithstanding the glitch, initial player feedback indicates that Starfield exhibits fewer bugs in comparison to past Bethesda games, and there are potential patches being developed.

One Starfield player recently took to the internet to share a funny mishap that resulted in them losing out on some valuable loot in a rather comical manner. While the spacefaring RPG is set to officially release on September 5th, players who purchased one of the higher-tier editions have been granted early access to Starfield since September 1st.

Historically, Bethesda Game Studios' games have had somewhat problematic launches, common among ambitious open-world RPGs. However, the company aimed to break that unfortunate trend with their latest project. In fact, Xbox Game Studios Head Matt Booty recently made a promising statement, assuring players that Starfield will have the fewest bugs of any Bethesda game to date.

During the early access version of Starfield, some technical issues were discovered by a Reddit user known as thedemonsoul. While progressing through the game's main quest on Kreet, an Anselon moon in the Narion system, the player encountered three pirates who had managed to pass through a spaceship loading bay. As a result, the group was gathered closely together, leading the player to eliminate them all with a single grenade. Unfortunately, the player was unable to loot their bodies before the ship swiftly departed with the corpses still lodged in its hull.

This amusing incident was captured on video and quickly gained popularity on the Starfield subreddit during the game's sole early access weekend. Numerous viewers were highly entertained by the clip, expressing astonishment and labeling it a "classic" and even an "all-time great Bethesda bug." One fan even compared the glitch to a well-known phenomenon in Skyrim, where giants could launch players and enemies into the air due to excessive damage conversion within the game's engine.

It remains to be seen if the issue of NPCs clipping into objects will be a top priority for Bethesda to fix in their latest title. The early access version of Starfield already received one comprehensive update before its release, addressing various technical issues with the RPG. Based on the studio's history, it is possible that another patch will be released in the next few days, considering that all their games since Skyrim received two updates shortly after launch.

Despite some minor glitches, initial player feedback suggests that Starfield's release is relatively less buggy compared to typical Bethesda games. Additionally, the online reactions to this shared fail indicate that some players are not against harmless bugs and even view them as an inherent or integral part of the Bethesda experience.
