A skilled Stardew Valley player has recently crafted a stunning corn maze on their farm, showcasing not only an impressive visual design but also featuring a variety of notable landmarks to discover. This extraordinary corn maze stands as one of the largest and most imaginative mazes ever constructed within the world of Stardew Valley.
One of the remarkable achievements in the gaming industry lies in the enduring popularity of the independently developed game, Stardew Valley. First released in 2015, this game continues to captivate and engage new players on a daily basis. In fact, the success of Stardew Valley is unparalleled, as numerous independent developers have attempted to replicate its triumph with minimal or no accomplishment. The key factor that entices players to continuously return to Stardew Valley is the unparalleled sense of creative freedom the game offers. Within the realm of Stardew Valley, there are few things more inspiring than the opportunity to design and cultivate the ideal farm layout.
The corn maze created by Reddit user RuralPharmer takes their layout to new heights, spanning the entire available space on their farm. To maximize the room for the maze, all the essential farm buildings, including the greenhouse, have been strategically placed in the top right corner of the land. This maze rivals the size of the one found at Stardew Valley's Spirit's Eve festival, with rows of corn that zig and zag in every direction, making it easy for anyone to get lost with just a quick glance. Nestled in the center of this colossal yellow labyrinth is a formation of hay bales that spell out "JoJa," representing the apathetic corporation known for prioritizing profit over everything else.
Impressive not only in size, this maze also offers various activities for visitors to enjoy. As shared in the Reddit post, there is a petting zoo, ten different scarecrows to discover, a surprise awaiting in the center, and even a wine tasting event on Fridays. However, there is a warning against cutting through the corn walls, as it is an obvious attempt to cheat. The post also mentions an active partnership between the farm and JojaCorp, which explains the prominent advertisement displayed at the maze's center.
RuralPharmer shared in the comments that it took them approximately 8 to 12 hours to finish the corn maze over the course of a week. Additionally, the original poster mentioned that they did not manually water every corn plant or utilize a system of sprinklers. Instead, RuralPharmer opted to use Rain totems, which helped save significant amounts of time and effort in watering their farm.
Stardew Valley can be played on PC, Mobile, Switch, PS4, and Xbox One.
