In August 2021, Rihanna achieved billionaire status, but her fans are well aware that she hasn't released an album since January 2016. Her immense wealth can be attributed to her successful ventures such as Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, and Savage x Fenty lingerie, rather than her music.

Similarly, Kanye West, another musician turned billionaire, faces a similar situation. His music is not his primary source of income, as he earns significantly more from his various other ventures. Forbes magazine confirmed in April 2020 that the rapper's net worth was around $1.3 billion, thanks to his Yeezy holdings, real estate investments, and other business ventures.

Kim Kardashian, the former wife of the subject, is a fellow member of the billionaires' club due to the success of her Skims shapewear and KKW Beauty line. During July 2021, the latter underwent a refresh.

On the other hand, Kylie Jenner, the subject's younger sister, does not belong to this club. Despite a 2019 Forbes report crowning her as the world's youngest "self-made" billionaire, the magazine retracted this title in May 2020. This decision was made after a review of her assets revealed that the founder of Kylie Cosmetics had submitted inaccurate documents through her team.

The Life of Kylie star wasn't fazed by the alteration. "I believed this website had a good reputation," she posted on Twitter. "All I see are numerous false statements and baseless assumptions lol. I have never sought any title or attempted to deceive my way into it. Absolutely not."
