The Gunslinger Archetype embodies the classic cowboy persona frequently depicted in contemporary media. Combining agility, swift reflexes, and lethal precision, Remnant 2 adeptly captures this fantasy. Players will undoubtedly relish in the thrill of mastering a formidable Gunslinger build.

Remnant 2 Gunslinger Build

The Gunslinger is an expert at enhancing firearm handling. Their focus is on speed, allowing them to reload, switch weapons, and shoot faster than any other Archetypes. While they may not initially deal as much raw damage as a Hunter, they come incredibly close in terms of pure DPS.

That being said, when the Gunslinger and Hunter are combined, the result is the Sharpshooter Archetype, which is undeniably the most effective in maximizing gun damage output. The following setup is designed for solo play and aims to push this unique strength to its maximum potential.

The loadout displayed above utilizes the initial Wrangler lever-action rifle to effectively embody the Gunslinger's persona as a rapid-firing, high-impact damage-dealer. Its optimal performance is achieved when targeting Weakspots, although it can dispatch most common adversaries with only a few shots, contingent upon the level of difficulty. Enhance its potential by pairing it with the fully-upgraded Twisting Wounds Mutator and the Chains of Amplification amulet, enabling a formidable +40% damage increment against bleeding foes.

Zania's Malice strengthens the reliance on precision in this build by increasing the damage inflicted on Weakspots after successfully hitting them. The spread of the Wrangler is reduced by the Focusing Shard, making it easier to land precise shots in rapid succession. The Stone of Expanse and Stone of Balance further enhance the weapon's damage. If necessary, the Stone of Balance can be replaced with a different ring depending on the situation.

When it comes to clearing large groups of enemies, the Enigma is arguably the best secondary weapon in the game. It serves as the perfect complement to the Wrangler, as the rifle is not suitable for dispatching hordes that are too close to the player's face.

The combination of Bulletstorm and Hunter's Mark transforms the Sharpshooter into a formidable boss slayer. This combo greatly enhances the Wrangler's firing speed and significantly reduces its long reload time. Additionally, Hunter's Mark boosts the player's critical hit chance and overall damage by 15% each. Upon entering a fog gate, activate both skills, aim for the boss's head (or its equivalent), and unleash a barrage of attacks.

If players feel the need, they can opt to switch out Bulletstorm for Quick Draw. This ability is particularly effective against hordes of enemies due to its auto-targeting feature. It is highly recommended to interchange between these two abilities frequently.
