How to Start Space Frogs from Outer SpaceWhere to Place the Space Frogs
Life is challenging for children growing up in Cydonia, the primary Martian colony located in Starfield. This mining town exists on a hostile planet, resulting in limited companionship with other kids and access to educational facilities.
Nevertheless, resilient children like Renee Shelby are determined to make the most out of their situation. Renee can often be found in the residential area, searching for ways to occupy himself while his parents toil away at their jobs. As he strives to bring some joy and vibrancy to this rather gloomy town, Renee is seeking assistance from the players of Starfield. Although the compensation may not be substantial, those who successfully complete the "Space Frogs from Outer Space" mission will receive a special bonus.
How to Start Space Frogs from Outer Space
When players come across a random security guard in Cydonia, they may hear about Renee's need for assistance. From a corridor between the main floor of the residential area and the upper exit near the UC Distribution office, the security guard shares that Renee seeks help. Renee, cleverly navigating his parents' rule of not talking to strangers, reveals that he spends his time drawing. He enjoys displaying his artwork on the walls for everyone's enjoyment. Unfortunately, he cannot leave the residential area without his parents present, creating the need for players to undertake the task on his behalf.
Where to Place the Space Frogs
At the beginning of the mission, Renee distributes a set of six posters to the players. These posters can be placed in six predetermined locations, which remain constant throughout each playthrough. One such location is the common area of the residential district.
On the wall of a stairwell in the residential district.
Next to the plastic curtain by the entrance to Cydonia.
In the bathroom of the Broken Spear.
Next to the office of the governor-general.
At a mining level in central Cydonia, a machine awaits.
After placing all six posters, players should make their way back to Renee. Successful completion of the mission grants 100 XP and a generous credit reward of 12. However, this mission offers an additional special benefit: those who finish it are granted the ability to construct Space Frog posters in any owned outpost. Each poster requires one Structural and one Ornamental resource, and can be mounted either on the interior or exterior of any Structure. These posters are available in five distinct designs.
Starfield is available now on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
