Find Drafts in Facebook's Android App
On your Facebook account, you can find drafts which are posts that have not been discarded or published yet. If you need to access a saved draft and continue editing it, we will guide you on how to do it. Let's begin.
Accessing your saved drafts on Facebook is quick and easy if you're using an Android phone. Simply use the notification bar on your phone.
To do this, swipe down from the top of your phone's screen to access your notifications. Look for the notification related to your Facebook drafts and tap on it. It's important to note that Facebook sends you a notification when you save a draft.
If you have dismissed the Facebook notification that redirects you to your drafts, you will need to generate a fresh draft. To accomplish this, launch Facebook on your Android device, initiate the composition of a new post, select the back-arrow icon located in the top-left corner, and opt for "Save as Draft." Subsequently, allow Facebook to transmit a notification for that particular item and proceed to tap on that notification in order to gain access to all of your drafts.
After tapping the notification, you'll land on the "Your Posts" page in the Facebook app. Here, you'll see all the drafts you've saved in the past three days.
To edit a draft, simply tap on it in the list, and it will open in Facebook's regular post editor. Should you wish to discard a draft, tap the three dots located next to that particular draft and select "Discard Draft."

Unfortunately, iPhone users have limited access to the Facebook draft feature as compared to Android users. The official Facebook app for iPhone allows you to save unpublished posts, but you cannot start a new post while having a saved draft; you can only complete the existing draft.
To utilize this feature, begin by creating a new post within the Facebook app. Then, tap the "X" icon located at the top-left corner of your post. From the menu that appears, select "Save Draft."
If you want to save your draft on Facebook, simply start composing a new post in your Facebook app. One way to do this is by tapping "What's on Your Mind?" at the top of your Facebook feed. This will take you back to your draft, allowing you to continue working on your post.
Find Drafts on the Facebook Website
Unlike the Android version, Facebook's desktop site does not offer a comprehensive draft option. However, it does automatically save your post content when you close the "Create Post" window. It's important to note that this feature only works as long as you remain on the current web page. If you navigate to another page on the site, your draft will be deleted.
To access the feature on Facebook's site, simply click on the "What's on Your Mind, [Your Name]?" field. Enter your post's content and close the "Create Post" window by clicking outside of it. Your post draft will be automatically saved as long as you stay on the page. To retrieve the saved draft, click on the "What's on Your Mind, [Your Name]?" field again, where your post content will be displayed.
You can then continue editing your draft and post it.

Editor's P/S
As a passionate Facebook user, I find the drafts feature incredibly useful for saving unfinished posts and accessing them later. The ability to retrieve saved drafts on Android, iPhone, and desktop devices makes it convenient to continue working on my posts whenever I want. The three-day expiration period for drafts on Android ensures that my drafts don't clutter up my account, while the automatic saving feature on the desktop site provides peace of mind knowing that my content won't be lost if I accidentally close the window.
However, I do wish that the iPhone app offered the same level of functionality as the Android app, allowing users to start new posts while having a saved draft. Additionally, it would be helpful if the desktop site had a dedicated section for viewing and managing saved drafts, similar to the "Your Posts" page on Android. Overall, the drafts feature on Facebook is a valuable tool that enhances my posting experience, and I appreciate the convenience and flexibility it provides.
