In Disney Dreamlight Valley, players can collect special materials through fishing that are specifically used for crafting items. Unlike fish, which are mainly used for cooking meals, these materials are exclusively for crafting. The list includes Seaweed, Red Algae, Bones, Plastic Scrap, and Scales. Seaweed and Red Algae can be found in every biome in both the Valley and Eternity Isle, while Bones, Plastic Scrap, and Scales are only available in Eternity Isle regions.

Seaweed is a versatile catch that can be used for both cooking and crafting. In cooking, it is classified as a Vegetable, while in crafting, it falls under the Refined Materials category.
