More than ten years since Paul Walker passed away in 2013, his brother Cody Walker and Fast & Furious co-star Tyrese Gibson continue to honor his memory at FuelFest.

"I miss him. It's really difficult not to think about Paul," Gibson, 45, shared in an exclusive interview with We Magazine, alongside Cody, as they talked about the upcoming car show. FuelFest, organized by Jada Toys, will be held on June 1 in Irwindale, California, with proceeds going to Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW), the nonprofit organization founded by Paul.

Cody shared with Us that through their efforts at FuelFest, they have raised around half a million dollars so far. This is something they are very proud of, as it is a part of Paul's legacy that they are continuing. It is an honor for them to have fun while also keeping Paul's dream alive.

Gibson mentioned that ROWW provides assistance to areas hit by natural disasters like earthquakes and hurricanes. He explained that the organization goes to these places to offer support and help out. This was something close to Paul's heart, as he dedicated his private time to this cause when he was not filming. It is a privilege for them to carry on Paul's passion and legacy alongside their colleagues. Their events are not just for show, but are done with genuine care and consideration for the impact and inspiration they bring.

FuelFest is not just your average car show - it's like Comic Con for car lovers, according to the duo.

Cody explained that FuelFest is all about celebrating car culture and is a fun event for the whole family. With live performances by Xzibit, DJ sets, a massive car show, and drifting activities all day long, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Attendees can even sign up for ride-alongs with drift drivers for an unforgettable experience. Plus, the event is also for a good cause, as they are raising money for charity.

Both men are from California and always look forward to seeing friends and family at FuelFest in Los Angeles. This year will be their sixth time attending the event. Tyrese Gibson, a native of South Central LA, expressed his excitement about Xzibit performing at the event. He joked that he would probably lose his voice from all the fun.

Cody was surprised to learn that Gibson has been in touch with Xzibit and is thrilled about it. He also mentioned that his childhood friend, Elijah Johnson, also known as EJ the DJ, will be attending the event. Gibson expressed how special and exciting it is for him to have his lifelong friends at FuelFest.

His friend has been working with Xzibit for many years and will be performing with the rapper at FuelFest. Gibson shared, "This is a special moment for us, a real homecoming."

The California FuelFest event will coincide with the release of Gibson's album, Beautiful Pain, on May 31 through his website. He mentioned, "I recently dropped a new single called 'I Would Still Say I Do,' even though I went through a divorce. If I had the chance to do it again, I would still say I do because I believe in love. Maybe I'm just a hopeless romantic."

Gibson is familiar with the idea of finding light in dark times. Whether coping with the loss of loved ones or the end of his marriage to Samantha Lee in 2020, he believes in learning something valuable from difficult situations.
