City's Paqueta talks on hold amid betting investigation

City's talks with West Ham over the signing of Lucas Paqueta are on hold amid concerns surrounding an FA and FIFA betting investigation.

Aymeric Laporte is set to depart City after five-and-a-half years at the club

Man City defender Aymeric Laporte is expected to travel to Saudi Arabia on Monday to complete a transfer to Al Nassr.

The clubs have reached a £25m agreement for the 29-year-old player, who transferred from Athletic Bilbao to City for £57m in January 2018.

Following the agreement, the Spaniard is scheduled to undergo a medical examination, and the terms of a three-year contract are prepared for signing.
