A shooting incident at an apartment in Jacksonville, Florida, claimed the lives of three individuals, including a toddler, on Saturday night, according to authorities.
Following reports of gunshots, patrol units were immediately sent to the apartment complex around 10 p.m., revealed J.D. Stronko, assistant chief of the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office. Upon arrival, authorities discovered that multiple individuals, comprising four adults and a 3-year-old child, had been shot.
Three individuals, including a child, tragically lost their lives. The identities of the victims remain unknown.
According to Stronko, it appears that they had visited the apartments with the intention of privately selling a dog, although the reasons behind this transaction remain unclear. Prior to the shooting, a dispute ensued.
Two men were seen fleeing the scene, Stronko said. Police "have just about as many questions regarding this incident as you do right now," he said.
