She chronicled her fight against cancer on the profile. On August 23, she penned: "How can I break the news to my kids? How can I explain that there's a possibility I won't be able to continue my life as a survivor this time? How can I assure them that everything will be fine when it's not? I'm fading away... I don't want to leave."

Nelson Mandela's granddaughters are set to star in a television reality show. The Nelson Mandela Foundation released a statement on Tuesday expressing their deep condolences to the Mandela family following the tragic passing of Zoleka Mandela last night.

"Her tireless efforts to promote cancer prevention and her fearless dedication to dismantling the societal prejudices associated with the disease will serve as an ongoing source of inspiration for everyone," the statement read.

Furthermore, her advocacy extended to road safety initiatives following the tragic car accident that claimed the life of her 13-year-old daughter, Zenani, in 2010.
