Tracker fans just want to enjoy watching their favorite TV show, but recent schedule changes have made it challenging. The show first premiered in February right after Super Bowl LVIII and quickly gained popularity. However, the release schedule started to become inconsistent when March Madness caused a significant delay in a crucial episode featuring star Justin Hartley reuniting with his on-screen wife, Sofia Pernas.
One month later, there were similar issues during the CMT Music Awards when a new episode was not aired. The show Tracker, which usually aired at 9 p.m. ET on Sunday nights, was rescheduled to start one hour earlier on Sunday, April 14, to accommodate The 100th: Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden.
This change led to viewers expressing their frustration on social media.
Some fans are frustrated with the constant changes to the schedule of #Tracker by @cbs. Users on X expressed their annoyance, with one commenting, "Every Sunday. [It] gets old. Maybe they could learn how to schedule better. Tired of waiting for Tracker."
On Tracker's official Instagram account, more fans voiced their disappointment over the scheduling issues. One user pointed out that the changes prevented them from tuning in, stating, "This is literally false advertising. Stop saying it's on at 8 when it's on at 8:30. How is the show going to work out with a live show at 9?"

Another commentator pointed out that their criticism stemmed from their love for Tracker. They wrote, "Help, please!! You have an incredible show and deserve far better treatment from your network, and so do [your] loyal fans."
Several viewers mentioned that they were "missing half" of the episodes. One Instagram user added, "I hope this doesn’t hurt their ratings because it’s a great show!"
Tracker is safe from being cancelled as it has already been renewed for a second season.
The show, inspired by Jeffery Deaver's novel The Never Game, tells the story of a survivalist named Colter (played by Hartley) who roams the country assisting individuals and law enforcement in solving different mysteries. Throughout the series, audiences uncover details about Colter's history and how his father's mysterious death influenced his choice to lead a solitary life away from others.
Hartley, who is also an executive producer on the project, previously shared his thoughts on why he finds his character so fascinating.
"He's truly a one-of-a-kind character. I mean, a guy who masters all these skills is quite rare. Not everyone knows how to do all these things," he explained to CBS in February. "Considering his tough childhood and upbringing...he acquires all these skills and the fact that he grows up to use them to aid others as an adult, makes him someone you can easily support."
The actor mentioned that he doesn't see Colter as an "antihero" despite bending the rules to achieve results. He believes Colter operates outside the law to serve justice or assist those in need, rather than intentionally breaking rules. Colter is portrayed as a multifaceted character, incorporating elements of both a businessman and a justice seeker.
"Tracker" is broadcasted on CBS on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET. Viewers can catch new episodes the following day on Paramount+.
