Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey’s romance is one for the record books.
Culpo and former New England Patriots player Danny Amendola dated on and off for two years before she was introduced to McCaffrey in June 2019. The couple kept their romance relatively private for several months before publicly confirming their relationship at the NFL Honors ceremony in Miami, Florida in February 2020. They also celebrated Valentine's Day together that same month, gushing over their budding romance.
"Happy Valentine's Day to my closest friend. I am grateful for how you have transformed my life and demonstrated the love I always yearned for but never believed attainable," Culpo expressed on Instagram. "You are the embodiment of a answered prayer. I consider myself the most fortunate woman in the world."
After being together for four years, the couple shared news of their engagement in April 2023.

The model learned the big news during a TikTok challenge with the SI Swim team, and her boyfriend was already in the know. "They asked us questions like who’s the better dancer and who’s the better cook, and then suddenly it was 'Who's on the cover of Sports Illustrated?'" Culpo recalled. When McCaffrey pointed to her as the answer, "I just immediately went into tears."
