Torrey DeVitto shared on the “Pretty Little Liars: True Crime” podcast why she believed she and Paul Wesley were not meant to be married. The 39-year-old actress opened up about their divorce, admitting that it was a challenging experience because it was the first time she had gone through such a public breakup. Wesley, who is 41 years old, was her former husband.

Despite their relationship not working out, DeVitto and Wesley have maintained a friendly relationship.

DeVitto reflected on their past, saying, "It was really for the best. He’s lovely — we shouldn’t have gotten married. We were really young when we met. We were 22 and we were crazy. Two insane people getting married. We were young and wild."

DeVitto spoke highly of Wesley, expressing his good wishes for him. He mentioned, "I always wanted the best for him when it was time for me to leave. I still wish the best for him. I run into him occasionally. It's been a while."

The couple first met while working on the movie Killer Movie in 2007. They dated for four years before deciding to get married. In 2011, they exchanged vows and became husband and wife. Following their marriage, DeVitto joined Wesley on the popular TV show Vampire Diaries, where she played the role of Dr. Meredith Fell from 2012 to 2013.

Wesley shared with We in October 2011 that he felt incredibly fortunate that a girl had liked him for more than a month. He couldn't quite understand why she chose him, but he felt very lucky.

DeVitto and Wesley ended their relationship and finalized their divorce in 2013. Representatives for the couple assured Us at the time that they would remain close friends despite the split.

After his marriage ended, Wesley began dating his co-star from The Vampire Diaries, Phoebe Tonkin. They were in an on-and-off relationship from 2013 to 2017 until Tonkin, who is 34 years old, announced their decision to break up. Shortly after splitting from Tonkin, Wesley was rumored to be dating Ines de Ramon, and they got married secretly in 2019.

In September 2022, it was confirmed by Us magazine that Wesley and de Ramon, who is 31 years old, had separated. A representative for Wesley and de Ramon stated that their mutual decision to part ways happened five months ago. They have asked for privacy during this time.

Wesley is now dating model Natalie Kuckenburg. They have been seen together at various events since going public with their relationship in late 2022. On the other hand, De Ramon has been romantically involved with Brad Pitt while he is going through a divorce with Angelina Jolie.

DeVitto shared exciting news on Sunday, May 19 - she is expecting her first child with fiancé Jared LaPine. This announcement comes less than a year after their engagement was reported by Us in September 2023.

Before DeVitto found love with LaPine, she was in a relationship with Rick Glassman following her breakup with Wesley. She also dated Jesse Lee Soffer and Will Estes before being with Chicago Cubs manager David Ross from 2021 to 2023.
