The British Fashion Council hosted its annual British Fashion Awards on Monday night in London, celebrating both emerging designers and industry veterans. The event attracted a lineup of American stars, including Anne Hathaway, Gwyneth Paltrow, Pamela Anderson, and Taylor Russell. Paloma Elsesser, a British native raised in LA, made history as the first plus-size model to win the Model of the Year award.
On the slightly rainy red carpet, guests were undeterred by the drizzle and arrived in stunning outfits. Kate Moss wore a dramatic black YSL cape, while Alexa Chung dazzled in a sequin dress by London-based label 16Arlington. Sequins, velvet, and red tones ruled the festive sartorial palette across the red carpet.

Additionally, Chairman of the British Fashion Council, Caroline Rush, wore an embellished dress coat from Richard Quinn, a favorite designer of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
