The 76th edition of the most fashionable film festival is now in full swing, with a lineup of esteemed directors, actors, and writers all set to grace the renowned Promenade de la Croisette. Among the jury members this year are "Barbie" director Greta Gerwig, "Killers of the Flower Moon" breakout star Lily Gladstone, and the talented James Bond actor Eva Green, alongside Spanish director Juan Antonion Bayon and Turkish screenwriter Ebru Ceylan.
Scheduled to premiere on the silver screen is Francis Ford Coppola’s highly anticipated $120 million passion project, "Megalopolis," featuring stars Adam Driver and Aubrey Plaza. Also making their debut are the Mad Max prequel, "Furiosa," starring Anya Taylor-Joy, and the latest collaboration between Yorgos Lanthimos and Emma Stone, "Kind of Kindness," which includes a star-studded cast of Hunter Schafer, Joe Alwyn, Margaret Qualley, and Keke Palmer.
The south of France is brimming with fashion icons from the film industry, many of whom have already made stunning appearances. Gerwig was spotted in a trendy Maison Margiela Spring-Summer 2024 sundress, Taylor-Joy looked breathtaking in full Dior haute couture, and Naomi Campbell dazzled in a vintage Chanel gown she first wore on the runway in 1996. The festival is known for its remarkable fashion moments, and this year seems to be no different.
