The Great
The Great is a clever satire that garnered no shortage of critical acclaim over its three seasons. The show follows Catherine the Great (Elle Fanning), Empress of Russia, satirizing the life of renaissance age aristocrats and juxtaposing modern humor with the brutal realism of the Russian court in the 18th century.

Despite the shining reviews from critics and a multitude of awards, the show's ratings must have fallen too low to warrant a renewal. However, some key questions remain after The Great's finale, so a potential revival could be on the horizon.

The Goldbergs
The Goldbergs quickly became a staple for ABC after it initially aired in 2013. While a revival seems unlikely in the short-term, iconic sitcoms like this often get revivals several years after their conclusion. Once fans have gone a few years without new episodes of The Goldbergs, it's entirely possible that ABC opts to revive the show for an extra season or two to capitalize on nostalgia.

Mindhunter
Mindhunter, a psychological thriller that premiered on Netflix in 2017, met with immediate success upon its release. Unfortunately, the show's expected third season was cancelled due to disagreements over the budget. After its abrupt cancellation, fans of Mindhunter were left perplexed as to why such a popular show would be cancelled after only two seasons.

Riverdale
Riverdale's ending finally arrived in 2023 after the show's impressive 6-year run, but doors remain open for a potential return to the series. Though Riverdale notoriously dipped in quality after the first few seasons, a few years off might give the show what it needs to recapture the magic of those early seasons.

It is certainly popular enough for a revival to be considered, but it would be best if there were a few years in between for fans to move on from the disappointment of the show's decline and embrace the nostalgia of those outstanding early seasons.

New Amsterdam
New Amsterdam, an NBC medical drama that ran for five seasons and 89 episodes over a five-year span, could easily be revived based on the series' conclusion. As per most series, New Amsterdam's revival chances are reliant on public demand.

Frontier
Frontier is a historical drama series that follows Jason Momoa's Declan Harp, an infamous trapper with a Native American mother and an Irish father. Though the show was cancelled after its third season, Frontier has a strong premise with plenty of open storylines that could fuel a revival.

Ted Lasso
Ted Lasso immediately became the flagship program for Apple TV + when it launched, proving to be the platform's most attractive series during its formative months. Since the series' conclusion in 2023, fans have been begging for a spinoff, but a Ted Lasso season 4 revival seems more likely.

The potential revival would almost definitely happen without the show's titular character after he finished the show in the perfect place, but plenty of other avenues exist for a revival to explore.

The Resident
The Resident is a medical drama from Fox, following the lives of various hospital staff members as they struggle with the flawed bureaucratic practices that control the healthcare industry. Though it was cancelled by Fox after its sixth season, there are plenty of ways the show could be revived if enough demand for it materialized.

Moreover, the issues in the medical industry that it focuses on are as prevalent now as ever, so there would be no shortage of real-life inspiration for a potential revival.

Killing Eve
Killing Eve is a popular show that follows a British Intelligence officer trying to track down a psychopathic assassin. As the show progresses, a mutual obsession grows between them, leading to a tense thriller that enraptured legions of fans during its four-season run.
Killing Eve is certainly popular enough to warrant a revival at some point, and it has been suggested that a Killing Eve season 5 could save its legacy, providing further incentive for a reboot of the series, at least for one more season.
