The Resurrection of Iron Man
While speculation over the possible return of Tony Stark continues, one Iron Man 4 fan trailer has taken the liberty of reviving him to rewrite his own destiny. The death of Tony Stark was a turning point for the MCU and every character in it, with the effects of Iron Man's sacrifice still lingering as late in the Multiverse Saga as The Marvels. It also left some incredibly large shoes to fill, which is something that this fan trailer suggests his daughter, Morgan, is capable of. Or at least, that is what the artificial intelligence Tony Stark believes.

The fan-made trailer for a possible Iron Man 4 from YouTube creator Cinematic Pro Studio explores the possibility of Iron Man's return in the MCU's Multiverse Saga. Interestingly, despite what prevailing theories surrounding Tony's return may posit, this one circumvents the implications of a Multiverse by having Tony's consciousness uploaded onto a chip, which is subsequently uploaded into a synthetic body identical to Tony Stark. This technology-focused resurrection certainly seems more befitting of Tony Stark's legacy than Multiversal shenanigans, while the bulk of the trailer does justice to Iron Man's legacy by having 'Tony' mentor Morgan into becoming the first Iron Woman.

Controversy Over Iron Man's Return
While this fan-made trailer poses an interesting possibility, there is still controversy surrounding whether Tony Stark should return to the MCU. It is no secret that the MCU has struggled with its most recent installments, with The Marvels recently breaking the record for the lowest box office taking for the MCU, a record previously held by The Incredible Hulk. There are many theories about why this happened, with one of them being that audiences aren't as invested in the newer characters as they are in older characters. The MCU's highest-grossing movies of the last few years lend credence to this idea.

Of all the MCU movies that were released in MCU Phases 4 and 5, the ones that feature established characters have grossed the most. Spider-Man: No Way Home, in particular, grossed the third-highest of any MCU movie. Now that Marvel is struggling to maintain its audience's interest, it is likely eyeing the possibility of Stark's return if only to reinvigorate the current box office slump. Given that MCU Phase 6 will culminate with the overarching effects of the Multiverse, a Tony Stark - even in a cameo role - from another universe could be all it takes to reinvigorate interest in the franchise, though Iron Man 4 is unlikely.

The Future of Iron Man in the MCU
With the speculation and controversy surrounding Tony Stark's possible return, the future of Iron Man in the MCU remains uncertain. While the fan-made trailer has sparked excitement and debate, it is clear that the legacy of Iron Man continues to captivate audiences. Whether or not Iron Man 4 becomes a reality, the impact of Tony Stark's character and the enduring legacy of the Iron Man franchise are undeniable. As the MCU's Multiverse Saga unfolds and Phase 6 approaches, the possibility of Iron Man's return lingers, leaving fans eagerly anticipating what fate has in store for the iconic superhero.
