Orla Sloan, 21, has been sentenced to a suspended 12-month prison term for stalking two Premier League footballers and harassing another, including Chelsea and England star Mason Mount, over a period exceeding four months.
She further confessed to causing significant alarm and distress to Brighton and Scotland midfielder Billy Gilmour, having stalked him persistently for a span of more than a month. Additionally, she acknowledged another offense of harassing Chelsea and England left-back Ben Chilwell.
Sloan was also handed a 30-day rehabilitation order, 200 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay Mount and Chilwell £300 each while she was also ordered to pay Gilmour £500.
Sloan was found guilty of incessantly sending messages to Chelsea and England football player Mason Mount. She confessed to stalking and harassing both Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell and on-loan Brighton midfielder Billy Gilmour.
During the trial, it was revealed that Sloan, who resides in Exeter, continuously sent an overwhelming number of messages to Mount from 19 June to 28 October 2022. The court also learned that Sloan and Mount had previously engaged in a sexual encounter after meeting at a party hosted by Mount's England teammate Chilwell in November 2020.
Mount and Sloan stayed in touch for approximately six months, but eventually, Mount stopped communicating with Sloan. However, Sloan persisted in sending him messages, leading to a relentless "bombardment of messages," as explained by Prosecutor Jason Seetal during a previous hearing.
After requesting her to cease messaging him, he proceeded to block her number. However, this did not deter her as she continued to send messages from different numbers, prompting him to repeatedly block each one.

Sloan allegedly pursued Mason Mount after their intimate encounter, as stated in court proceedings. The Chelsea star reportedly received a barrage of communication from 21 different numbers, with some messages containing collages featuring him alongside other women.
"I have the ability to change my appearance at any moment, so allow me to apologize and rectify the situation," read a message sent from an Instagram account under the pseudonym 'Devil Baby'.
Furthermore, a separate message showcased an Apple account purchasing a new phone number for £12.99, accompanied by the statement: "I have decided to prioritize obtaining more numbers rather than spending money on food."
"I will be faster than you."
In a victim impact statement, Mount added: "Miss Sloan knows roughly where I live and where I train.
I am concerned that if she cannot reach me, she may unexpectedly appear at my training center.
Sloan, who allegedly had a significant following on social media, harassed Gilmour from September 10th to October 28th, 2022. She made false claims of being pregnant, which were deemed entirely unfounded in court.

Sloan pleaded guilty in May
Gilmour said her messages had had a "huge impact" on his life after he joined Brighton from Chelsea in September last year.
"It has been a struggle for me to find restful sleep, resorting to relying on sleeping tablets," he expressed. "Unfortunately, this has significantly impacted my ability to perform well and has caused disruptions in my professional life. Moreover, the fact that I am in an unfamiliar town without the support of my loved ones amplifies the distressing nature of the situation."
Her lawyer, Michael Cogan, argued in her defense that Sloan, a resident of Exeter, had displayed naivety in failing to recognize that her relationship with Mr. Mount would not advance. He further stated that she is genuinely remorseful and has refrained from contacting them since. Sloan, seated in the dock, appeared impassive, wearing a black top over a white dress and sporting heavy makeup.
Sloan will also have to pay £85 costs and a £154 victim surcharge.
