A brief recap on Goblin Slayer season 2 episode 1: An Ordinary Spring Day

The episode commenced with a flashback of Goblin Slayer rescuing the Priestess from goblins in a previous encounter. Shifting back to the present, it depicted the Priestess and Elf engaging in a conversation about the establishment of a fresh training facility for aspiring adventurers.
Later on, Dwarf Shaman and Lizard Priest joined their ranks, soon followed by Goblin Slayer, whose mysterious aura captivated the attention of all.
Without much deliberation, the group unanimously decided to embark on a goblin-hunting expedition. Goblin Slayer took charge, carefully selecting quests pertaining to goblin extermination and providing the team with surplus potions. Along the way, they crossed paths with a budding, young adventurer named Rhea, whom Goblin Slayer offered advice and guidance to before she embarked on her own quest. Additionally, they encountered a bold and impetuous red-haired youth who carelessly collided with Priestess as he frantically rushed towards the guild.

Instead of offering an apology for his behavior, the kid chose to criticize the group, blaming them for their slowness. Upon completing the mission, Goblin Slayer went straight to the guild to report. It was there that he once again crossed paths with Wizard Boy, the red-haired kid. Surprisingly, Wizard Boy expressed a strong desire to become Goblin Slayer's student, but his request was immediately denied. Since Wizard Boy had no place to stay, Goblin Slayer took him to Cow Girl’s farm.
Despite initial reluctance from Cow Girl's uncle, Goblin Slayer managed to convince him to let Wizard Boy stay in his rented barn. The following day at the guild, it was revealed that the Priestess couldn't advance in rank due to her party members being of Silver Rank, and the guild deemed her contributions insufficient. Wizard Boy openly ridiculed her abilities, which angered the other Priestesses present. Onna Kinshi intervened and proclaimed that Wizard Boy should trust his instincts and appoint Priestess as the leader of his new party.

In Goblin Slayer season 2 episode 2, titled The Red-Headed Wizard Boy, the focus will be on Wizard Boy and his determination to slay goblins. Despite his arrogance, Goblin Slayer sees potential in him, but advises against going alone to the goblin lair due to his lack of experience. Instead, a new team will be formed, allowing Wizard Boy to learn the fundamentals while Priestess gains points towards her ranking by mentoring him.
