During the September Nintendo Direct broadcast, Nintendo unveiled the last downloadable content (DLC) for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The showcase featured upcoming additions to the game, including the Daisy Circuit course from Mario Kart Wii and four new characters: Funky Kong, Diddy Kong, Pauline, and Peachette. Considering that each DLC wave has introduced eight courses, we can anticipate the announcement of seven more courses in the coming months.
The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe post-launch campaign will come to a close with the release of the Wave 6 DLC during the holiday season. Through the Booster Course Pass, Nintendo will have added a total of 48 DLC courses. By subscribing to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, players can access all the courses and characters. Alternatively, players have the option to purchase all DLC waves for $25.
